The Golden Lion is a great local hotel well suited to business trips. Just 10 rooms in a square and building which could have been used as a film set, long stone corridors large rooms. The restaurant is well priced and the quality of food is above average for a three star hotel restaurant. The wine selection is also reasonable....

I arrive in this town for business and I booked in this hotel, I didn't imagine that the place would have been so nice, it is a 5 century old building with all rooms typical for that age. On the first floor there still the Andersen's room the writer of fairy tales.

Late arrival no problem. Car could be parked on the market square in front, staff took care of ticket payment. I had a very, very good dinner and tasty breakfast the next day. The room was clean and cosy. My room was connected to the emergency exit on the first floor, it did feel like someone could easily get up...

The hotel offers big clean rooms, good breakfast, the service is excellent, too. It is in the main square, there is free parking behind the hotel. The wifi is OK in the room. You can find good restaurants in the town.

I was booked into this hotel by the office we have in Czech Republic. It was a wonderful little hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and user friendly. There is free wifi available and breakfast was lovely. We used the restaurant for one of the evenings I stayed and it was very good. The waiters were quick and the food...

The hotel offers free private parking but its not easy to find the right way (no access from the main square where is the main access to the hotel). You can also park at the main square but its not free and also not easy to find an empy parking space. Hotel has traditional room with an older but still...

We stayed here by chance several years ago, and remembered both the town and the hotel well enough to book again for 3 nights recently, as part of an exploration of this beautiful area of the Czech Republic. We weren't disappointed! The building is historic, and beautifully restored, so has lots of character (though it lacks a lift, so is...

I spent one night in this hotel. You can find it in very good location. Room was average and also the services. Especially waiter was SLOW! On the other hand the dinner and breakfast was very good! But for next time I would find something else to stay.

I'm sorry to write that my last experience with their restaurant was more than disaster. I ordered a grilled salmon, my wife "meet in a potato dough". Well, my salmon wasn't grilled but fried on a oil. Meet was completely dry and gray. I was so stu**d that I ate it. Believe me, you don't want to know what I...
