Very neat and well kept hotel facility with beautiful garden and frangipani and palm trees. Rooms are primitive but clean, big beds with great huge moskito nets, good AC. I had a seaview bungalow with nice view to the ocean and a small balcony, semi open air bathroom with a good water pressure shower. Missing shelves in the bathroom and missing chair or furniture in very small room. Breakfast basic, missing fruit - only watermelon and pineapple stored in the fridge and not freshly cut. Very bad service at the restaurant facing the ocean with amazing view. Staff very lazy and unfriendly except komang geck , he is new but has a beautiful aura and a smile, which comes from his heart which is for me more important than language skills, he was the only staff to come for service without having to call. Overall great place, i give only four stars because of bad service in the restaurant.…
Great little place to stay, very relaxed atmosphere. Rooms were comfy. Breakfast was ok, but heaps of other choices around the area. Really lovely staff. Motorbike hire on site. Reasonable rates as well. Recommended for anyone.
Great Huts for a perfect holiday in a magical location. We had an oceanview hut and loved every minute of our stay. It’s basic accommodation but has all you need. Will definitely go back. The place is perfect for surfers but non surfers alike. This stay is very chilled out with staff looking well after everyone. Marvellous location overlooking the ocean of the restaurant
We stayed at this property back in Jan 19 & LOVED it so much. It was the highlight of our trip, so much so we re-booked again for November for a longer time. When we arrived however we were very disappointed with the changes/renos that they've made. They have now cut down the beautiful trees around the pool (why!!??) - the whole 4 nights we were there we never saw anyone swimming in it! We jumped in once and then realized why, it's sooooo hot now. Didn't use it for the entire stay. They have built a big tin shed thing over the restaurant area, and also at Mahana Point directly in front of the hotel... both not very sightly. Also a big white tin shed thing directly in front of Cabin 1 - replacing the beautiful big tree - Crazy!! The glare off the roof was so hot you cant sit out on the balcony and we had to ask to move cabins. Also they have built a big structure down on the beach/ swing, signage & hammock. Such a shame the beach was soooo beautiful before. Just because all the other restaurants along the bay are doing it does not mean you should! All the cabins have been whitewashed, and external things painted blue everywhere. The place really lost some of it's charm. It felt dry, concrete and definitely not as inviting down the back area. The only thing the hotel actually needed a reno on was the bathrooms in the cabins.... and that seems to be the only thing they haven't touched? It's still good value for money, and a lovely spot... just wish whoever was in charge of design/reno had of made some better choices. Was so much nicer before.…
We had arrived 11AM atvthe restaurant, order for spagethi and local food Nasi Goreng. They provide us the knives and fork for the food... We asked the spoon and they send us a fork again. Nice sea view and we can go down to beach but poor service on the restaurant.
