Location - perfect. Staff - perfect. Safari arrangements - perfect. Food - ok. Accommodation - ok. Food is not "resort" category. Instead it is local stuff - tastes fine and is served with a smile. Room is comfortable, but be aware that the electricity is available only for a limited time. We went there in last week of April, and...

Hi, I have been visiting the K.Gudi camp many times from a very longtime (2003, during the Veerappan times). Love the location, the staffs, food and of course the forests. It was here that I got to see my first tiger in south Indian forests(had the luck of sighting of 3 more tigers ) (thanks to Mr.Thapa). But even after...

We love K gudi because of the location and staff and brings us back a couple of times a year.A point which i would like to highlight and may benefit many travelers.Given the location and also gates getting closed both ends after 6pm,should there be a medical emergency ,the golden hour matters...so why dont you consider having doctors doing internship...

Located deep inside the Jungle this resort from JLR group is one of the finest in terms of location and the facilities. Good roads throughtout and the resort if easy to locate without much help. I stayed in a tented cottage (T7). T7 and T8 are near to the forest area and gives a good view of the forest. The...

I decided to do a solo trip to K Gudi and even thought he website doesn't allow solo booking, a quick phone call to Jungle Lodges in Bangalore is all it takes in case you are alone. I spent a weekend at K Gudi in April 2016. Drove in from Bangalore and it took me about 5 hours including a...

Nice rustic environment. Would have been perfect if there were fans for the afternoon as it got really hot. (Solar power?) The tents were really nice. And the staff were very friendly. The naturalists are passionate about what they do. Specially Nataraj. The drivers were also very knowledgeable and good spotters. I loved the mornings Nice birding. But few mammals....

Excellent resort. We have been frequent visitors to K Gudi since 1997. Till date we have come to K Gudi more than 150 times. This is one of those very few forest resort which located inside forest, therefore gives you the pleasure of living in the wild. Staff, food, safari, facilities everything is excellent

As always Jungle Lodges has excellent facilities right in the middle of the jungle. the Kgudi JLR facility is also no exception when it comes to a surreal nature experience. Located on the border of BR hills this facility is the right combination for a great wildlife and nature experience. The hospitality of the folks managing this place is simply...

Beautiful setting and lovely forest - very few jeeps so is really peaceful. Rooms need to be upgraded/poor maintenance. Gol Ghar is too small and the place where the movies are shown is not fit to be part of a JLR property.
