We stayed three nights in this excellent B&B whilst visiting Angoulême for the classic car racing. Mme Duvivier was a kind, helpful and most hospitable hostess. Our room was beautifully furnished with antiques and quality textiles. Breakfast was excellent and Mme Duvivier's home made yoghurt was sublime. The maison was quiet and peaceful..we slept well! There was secure parking for...

My husband and I spent a night here and had a fantastic stay! Madame Duvivier was warm, welcoming and kind! She offered us a choice of bedroom, both beautiful as you can see from the pictures! We rented the first floor gite from Mme Duvivier. On first impressions, the gites, manor house and grounds appeared full of rustic charm. However, on closer inspection, it was really quite shabby and in need of some TLC. We have been renting gites in France for the past 10 years and have never been disappointed and two things that make...

Whether you view the decor as American Federal or French Revolutionary, you can't help but to feel inspired by this special place. The towers on the perimeter date to the 11th century. The main house is 18th...

I have given this 2 stars only because of the swimming pool. The pool is very nice but you do have to share it with guests from the hotel and Madame's friends. This place could have been so good if it were not for Madame and her unwelcoming behaviour. On arrival at the Gites she informed us that she knew...

I have waited for three weeks before posting this comment. We rented a gite from Mme Duvivier and were disappointed from the beginning. The gite had not been cleaned properly and there was a dead bird and tea bags left on the table at the rear of the gite. It smelt musty and had old towels not matching may I...
