The place is easy to find as it's just right in front of Jemeluk Bay beach. We were greeted by the lady, who served us a really fresh welcome drink, she also helped me carry my heavy backpack to our room. The room has a pretty big balcony that has an amazing beach view, a sun/pool lounge chair, a table with 2 small chairs. The room was pretty big too, it has a huge bed, wardrobe and your own bathroom with a very unique shower head. For girls who have long hair and wouldn't like to wash your hair everyday, my recommendation is don't forget to bring shower cap :p The room has fan and aircon and also wifi. The room was great and the view was amazing but if you have a knee problem, it will be a bit difficult for you to climb up. The room is really high on top! The stairs size are not the same, so there will be a thick and thin stairs and it was pretty tiring just to come up and down the stairs. Breakfast is included though, and also a cleaning service, which was pretty nice. The breakfast is really good, who would ever thought eating pancake with lemon and honey? It was something different, but good different. The lady was very friendly, always greeted us and asking what are we going to do and if we need help from her. She recommended us a few places to snorkel. The guys who work there also very friendly and helpful. Jemeluk Bay beach just right in front of the place! Like 2 mins walk, there are a stairs to come down to the beach. It was the best beach to snorkel in Amed for me. At night, it was really dark, like the lights at the area was not so much, but the stars! The stars are crazily amazing! And if you're lucky, you might be able to see a shooting stars. Always remember to close your door if you are turning on your lights in the balcony, as there are so many bugs and insects that really like the lights. We had to try to clean everything on our first night here, as they are literally everywhere, crawling on the floor too. It gets better the next day, we stayed here for 9 nights :) The homestay also rented a snorkeling equipment if you don't have yours and also laundry! We didn't know that she has that laundry service until we saw the board. Overall, it was a nice peaceful stay here in Bukit Indah. My only concern is the stairs are pretty tiring. I have a knee problem so, it wasn't that great for me.…
The room was clean, shower was good, fantastic view from my room, also pretty cheap. Breakfast was ok (homecooked), but I have expected this due to the cheap price. I also love the bed's hardness. Fast free wifi. The room has low watt AC so it took a bit more time for the AC to spread to the room. Clothes hanger in bathroom is too close to shower so the water splashes to the clothes and towel. But these are small things compared to the overall satisfaction I have. I definitely recommend it.
We came knowing it was a home stay but left early a bit disappointed. Besides the many steep stairs to climb (our accommodation was at the top) some basic things were missing...like somewhere to put rubbish and maybe some bottled water?? The pillows were like overstuffed rucksacks, way too big and hard which made for an uncomfortable sleep. The beach below is rocks and not that swimmable compared to others. WiFi?? Not often...However, it wasn't all bad, the views were great, it had hot water and air-con (sort of worked in one room, not too good in the other). Lugging stuff in and out became a chore and my knees weren't coping well so we told them we wanted to leave early (gave two days notice) and asked for a refund for the last three nights (booked 7). They were definite we couldn't get a refund (used booking.com) which was probably the policy however they said they couldn't reopen the dates on booking.com which I found out isn't the case. Anyway we accepted the loss and moved to another place. The last two days there they were a bit frosty towards us which soured it a bit. My wife is Indonesian and she thought they were rude. I was happy to leave in the end. You get what you pay for i guess but beware the stairs!…
My Wife and I we stayed in bukit Indah for 4 weeks all May, family which run that place surrounded us with friendship and always were willing to help with motobike and other things. food always fresh and tasty . Highly recommend this place to stay !!!
I arrived in Amed around 6pm, it started to get dark, but it's not that hard to find this place as it is located right in front of the road, facing the cliff. If you bring a car it would be a bit troublesome, but they spare one space for mine at the time. The room is spacious, very basic, but clean (although there's a small tree-like plant growing inbetween the floor lol). There's a lot of ants and bugs inside the room, so place your food stocks carefully. I got a room with seaview balcony, and along with the great service, it made the price i paid for this worthy.
I'm usually very skeptical about guesthouse/homestay but after seeing good reviews here I decided to try. I stayed for only 1 night this time but I will come back here for longer next time! Staffs were very friendly and made a check in very smooth. My room (#2) was very clean and comfortable. Shower was good pressure with hot/cold water. There were 2 fans in the room and I had both working during the night. It was enough for me to be comfortable but if you easily get hot better get a AC room. View from the terrace was blocked by the houses in front so there was a partial view of ocean. The homestay was in between Titi Segada & Miss You and there were other small & large hotels around on the same road so I was a bit worried about the noise but the night was so quiet with a faint sound of waves crashing and some crickets. The location was convenient to get to Jemuluk and Japanese shipwreck and some restaurants/shops nearby. For the price this is a comfortable enough place to stay for a few nights. …
The houses ar collocated in a hill that makes the view marvellous. All the separate houses has tjeir private terrace that makes the stay increible. Beautiful spacious rooms with nice wooden furniture . The family that runs the place are lovely . I highly recommend this beautiful houses.
We were four people and stayed at Bukit Indah two days in the family room. It was simply amazing. A big room with two comfortable double beds, AC, big windows, hot shower and a breathtaking bathroom! It's a really good price. For this room they could take more money, but its perfect for low budget travelers , who wants to have kinda luxurious stay. The staff is very kind. They even offered us to use the kitchen for cooking. I really can recommend this place!
My husband and me were travelling with our own moto on Bali when we decided to finish our road trip day at Jalan. We found a room a little bit by chance at Bukit Indah but were not disapointed! They were really nice people, we chatted a lot and they were soo kind to invite us to their family ceremony at temple for Galungan, and then went together to a village party nearby! Just go with your heart and open-mindedness and you might as well have this kind of awesome conversations where you get to understand better Balinese culture.
We just stayed three days in this hotel And we booked FAMILLY ROOM. Room are spacious and clean, perfect sea views, and familly were very friendly. They help us to snorkelling into a very nice place and help us book tickets to go to gili trawangan.
