We have stayed in december in this beautiful hidden resort close to the Lipah beach, only 2 mins walk from our bungalow. Beach is amazing because is full of corals and turtles. Bungalows are in the green garden with romantic hammocks and the most amazing is opensky bamboo shower in deluxe bungalows. There are working really nice people willing to help us with everything. We will come back.

First impression - no welcome, most of the staff looked annoyed and uncomfortable. This has not changed throughout the stay. The owner Putu is pleasant and speaks Czech. At first glance, the bungalows look good, but on closer inspection you can see inadequate maintenance as everywhere in Asia. Daily cleaning - sweeping, change of towels. However, even here we destroyed large cockroaches. Air conditioning, mosquito nets, refrigerator in the room. There is no kettle and lamps on the bedside tables Garden maintained, picturesque, hammocks, romantic lighting. The garden in the evening light looks very nice. Accommodation includes a restaurant - quite expensive and average quality of food. Breakfast - amount decent, but the taste very average. In the neighboring warung the kitchen is excellent and affordable. Next time we would have chosen better. We didn't feel welcome. …

Place is ran by awesome friendly people, who proactively suggest special treatment (I witnessed tailor-made romantic dinner for two in garden prepared for other guests). Place is eco-friendly, very close to the beach, awesome beds. Beach is nice snorkelling spot with easy access. Any time I want to chill and stay under the biggest mango tree full of fruits i have ever seen again, i know where to go.

Friendly service, beautiful gardens - comfortable, clean and affordable. PutI, Dewi and all the staff go out of their way to ensure you see Amed at it's very best. Great snorkelling, clean seas and delicious food with an emphasis on organic clean, local produce.
