We spent 3 nights here, 6 couples and a single. Our cottages were large, spacious, clean, with all the usual amenities, leading to an attached bathroom, Again, spacious, and comfortable. There were 2 very large sofas to lounge around on , with a footstool for one of them, along with a very comfortable bed. Our cottage was at a height, and had a larger running verandah with comfortable chairs, coffee table, and a fabulous view of the mountains. The gardens were beautifully manicured, the swimming pool looked inviting, the topiary done to the trees and bushes were very pretty. The property was full of flowers, and twinkling lights at night. Special mention must be made of a Mr. Somanna, and a Mr. Ponappa, who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The other supposrt staff were all pleasanr, smiling, and very happy to oblige. I would Love to go back here again.

We spent a weekend at The Blossom Resort in Chikmagaluru. The place is far away from the town center, which itself is a blessing. The property is at one of the best spots giving a breathtaking view of the mountain right in front of the resort. The place is getting a make over done right now, so when the changes are done, it will be treat to the eyes, I hope so.

(+)
Excellent location, breathtaking views
Good set of amenities
Awesome food, one of the best Chefs in this part of the country :) all cuisines
General hospitality and friendliness of the staff
Overall property, landscaping

(-)
Restaurant service can improve, they know the resort is full and they have fixed snack time in the evening. Everyone go around for sight seeing and come around snack time, and the chef is not ready with food on time, no clue on what snacks are available. This was a bit irritating at times. The tables are not adequately set up, they didn't bother to see if there was water in the table, enough glasses to consume water.
We stayed in a mountain view room, for the money charged there was not good value. The room was too cramped, the balcony has plastic chairs, am sure they could afford better sofa set if the premium price was for a good view of the mountain, what's the fun sitting in a normal plastic chair?
The washrooms need a bit of refurbish, eco friendly flush is a good idea, but not when it is not sufficient :). Water quality was poor - had a iron smell and was reddish in color.

Net-Net a place I will surely recommend, but they have good room for improvement on the above points.

It was our first time to Chikmagalur and we were from Nepal. Our friend suggested the Blossom resort for our stay and we loved it. We were impressed by the beauty of the resort. It was far from the crowd of city in the midst of jungle and greenary everywhere. We liked our room which also had jacuzzi. There were different activities for our recreation . Swimming pool was also good. Food was delicious. Most importantly staffs were very helpful, cooperative, polite. One of the staff Rakshitha, she was professional, very well mannered and very helpul.

One thing we would like to suggest is that the resort should have laundry service for the guest , especially for those who stay litter longer.

We stayed in more than a dozen places in our 6 week tour of Karnataka and Kerala and this was by far the worst. The staff were surly, we asked for coffees in the restaurant and they never arrived, and the room was basic. The bathroom was a wet room, a personal hate of ours, the the shower only managed to dribble water out. The bed was rock hard and the room location was immediately above the kitchens. The kitchen air con and food smells permeated everything.

It was new years eve and there was a disco pounding away very loudly from 5 pm to 1 am. Our room was directly above the source of the music and it was so loud, we had to shout at each other in the room to make ourselves heard.

The food at the evening do was practically non existent. We were given a starter eventually and then nothing more appeared. And it was far too loud for anyone to ask what was happening.

In the morning, after a practically sleepless night, breakfast was a disappointment. I found some cereal but when I went to the flask next to the cereal, instead of the expected milk, it contained tea. So I asked the kitchen for some milk and they poured boiling milk over the cereal, deflating both it and me.

We were supposed to be here for 2 nights but left after one night. Truly awful.

Resort is located right in front of the vast green hills of Chikmagaluru which is a beautiful and serene landscape that adds a sense of calm to the surroundings. The resort in general is very quiet even though its on the main highway.

Visited with my wife and daughter for 3 night stay in the executive suite which is the first floor of a Villa with a huge room and a full U shape balcony. Room is excellent with all usual facilities. Room service is good and staff in general is responsive. Though the price is a bit on the higher side its worth the facilities and hospitality provided. Thanks to the Property Manger Chandra who took care of al our needs during the stay.

Wi-Fi is available at the reception area with good speed. For room use they issue an Airtel Dongle which suffices for non-video work.

Swimming pool is well maintained and we enjoyed every bit of it. Rope based activities are very good and we were accompanied with adequate support staff. Indoor games area is still under construction so the games are provided in the room on demand.

Food is awesome !! to say the least. We had all the 3 meals included in the package and it proved to be a great value for money. The dosas and omlettes from live counter were too good. Special mention for Yashank the F&B manager who took great care of the food quality. He went out of the way and prepared delicious Akki roti (Rice flour roti) for specially and exclusively for us.

I would definitely visit it again.

I planned a trip with my family to Chikmagalur from my hometown (Shivamogga). Then while I was searching in internet for some good resort near Chikmagalur, i found the blossom resort which was rated more than 4.5 stars out of 5. Also saw few of the reviews and then booked 2 night stay for my entire family. We were 5 adults and 2 kids. I should really say that place was not very far from my hometown, it was around 80KM and took me around 1.5 hours of journey in my car. So once we entered the place, we were astonished with a beautiful looking reception and pool and play area near to it. We booked a room called as Double bed withgarden view which was an individual room with double cot and a sofa in the foyer area. The room was very spacious for 2 to 3 people. Also everything in the room was very clean and neatly maintained. But I would really recommend if you are going to this resort, please book the room with hill view which is little expensive compared to garden view but it's worth as you get a good view of Mulaynagiri hills.

Coming to the food, the restaurant inside serves both veg and non veg but as we were vegetarians, i could say that it was really good and there were lot of varieties as well. Also the breakfast was complementary and it was very nice as the dosa and akki rotti were made freshly.

I was worried about engaging kids but there was an outdoor play area as well as indoor one. The property also has a big open space so kids will surely look to roam around. Also the pool was well maintained and there was a kid pool area as well so it was really helpful. There are adventurous play area as well for adults which has many levels of rope activity but only one thing which I felt bad was there was no instructors for it and it's really difficult to play without guidance.

So overall i can say we had good time spent in the resort as staff was also well trained and they were very friendly. The place is beautifully located and cleanly maintained. I would recommend to my friends and family to visit atleast once this place.

Stayed at this Resort during end of Apr 2023 with my family. A great location amongst Coffee Estate right bang on the road. The whole resort area provides a great sight with lush green well maintained gardens which is the highlight. The rooms (i.e Terrace View) were very spacious unlike other star hotels. Rooms are well kept and Hotel staff are very courteous in helping the guests. Mr Somanna & even the Resort Manager helped in planning our trip to various places around Chikmagalur. Since it was almost 3rd week of April, the weather was a little hot, but the evenings were pleasant. Most of the rooms don't have an Air Conditioner, as weather is pleasant most of the year. However, adding A/Cs to the rooms could add to the comfort of the guest during peak summers. The food was of great standards. The restaurant serves Buffet, but one can also order ala carte. The mountain view from the resort was too good. One can proceed towards Mulyangiri peak and also Kemmangundi from this centrally located resort...Overall one will not have anything to complain about since the Service by the staff is very good....

One of the best places we stayed at in recent times. Truly value for money.
The resort is vast and very well maintained. The rooms are relatively large, ideal for a family of 4 or more, and offer great views of the mountains. The food served is amazing. Please ask the restaurant manager for special local cuisine. Amenities wise it offers a pool and typical campfire arrangements and some games.
What we liked the most was - spacious rooms with great view, amazing food all three meals, very friendly and accommodative staff. Right from Mr. Chandramouli to Praveen and Yashant, they ensured we enjoyed and relaxed during our stay.
The only sore point was there was no spa. Also, the rooms were getting refitted, so some fixtures like mini fridge, racks in bathroom were missing. But those were of no major concern or issue. By now these should be in place, my guess.
All major tourist attractions are under an hour drive away from this location.

Unnecessarily overpriced unclean unmaintained rooms beautifully decorated with spiderwebs. Smelly bathrooms are wonderful add on. On top of it the approach stairs to the room was creeking as if it will fall down if you step on li’l fast. My personal bedroom is much better than this so called resort room. Unnecessarily over priced. Not even worthy of 1000/- per night. They will offer you welcome drink if you are among top 5 deciled lucky customers, else for general customers like us have to stand in front of the empty reception desk and howl at the top of voice like a fox. Wi fi is a distant dream yet. Jhulas are tied to the most delicate branches of the tree giving you a feeling of tipping from the very second you try to sit on it. Only good thing is restourant, food is really tasty. I wish to rate -5 star

If you're looking to do nothing, no sightseeing or adventure, then this is your go-to place.

Quiet (mostly) and tucked away in the hills, this is a tranquil destination with friendly staff and peaceful surroundings. The villas offer rooms on the ground as well as 1st floor, For the physically challenged visitors they have wheelchairs available. You do need to walk through the villas for about 50-100 yards to reach the restaurant, or if you're not in the mood, order room service.

They serve a buffet for all meals, and the food is mostly tasty and the quantities very generous.

Other than food, limited activities like settling in with a book or catching up on some R&R is what makes this place special.

Children likely to get impatient after a day of this - nothing for them except for the swimming pool.
