We have stayed at this place a few times last few times we noticed stuff missing ( drinks/food ect) plus 2 hand held radios. We were finding this strange as not many people in the park we recently had a trip up there it was terrible . The manager was open with his drugs on veranda. I seen him making...

I have never been north of Townsville before going for a drive to the Daintree, I stumble accross this camp ground that is trying to regain it's former status as a resort, the cabins are currently being repaired and as such not really usable, but the camp grounds and camp kitchen are very nice, the manager and others who work...

We arrived at the Koala Beach Resort after visiting the Daintree Discovery Center. On arrival we (my girlfriend and me) got a warm welcome by the owner. He insisted on showing the place before we paid. This was the first camping this happened, and we really liked it. Not that the place really needs an introductory talk, because it looks...

We stayed for three days not wanting to tow our caravan up the narrow roads up the coast. The proximity to the beach great. Perfect for the fisherman. There is plenty of shady areas and a pool, but the facilities are basic and there is no power If upgraded this would be an awesome place for family holidays and school...

We have just stayed for 4 nights. The location and grounds are stunning. Wayne the manager is a little rough round the edges but a great guy and will do whatever he can to help you out! However... I think the owners need to pay for someone to help him. The women's toilets/showers were not cleaned the whole time we...

The location is second to none, but unless you like free camping you'll struggle. There is water and that's it. There are power points on the site but the manager will not switch electric on, even though he told me it was switched on several hour per day, it never came on. The site is advertised as a powered site...

We were at the camping site in march 2016, right before the new owners had actually reopened the camping, still they gave us a very warm welcome! They even brought us complementary ice cubes from town. The pool had already been cleaned, they provided mosquito coils. Beautiful beach, very helpfull and lovely owners!

Not convinced the guy who took our money even owns the place ! All the phone numbers and contact info now out of date, no website either so just had to turn up and hope. No pool now, deck ripped up, no powered sites (cos there's no power !), no bar anymore, no food, no hammock chairs, most of the...
