Detailed Reviews
We stayed at Orobie Alps Resort for a few nights over the New Year and what a wonderful stay we had! Paolo and his team are so professional and really know how to run a hotel properly. The hotel is spotlessly clean, has a lovely atmosphere as well as a beautiful and classy design. It's obvious that the owners take great pride in what they do - everything from the rooms to the spa to the food is fantastic. Paolo was so helpful to us throughout our stay and nothing was a problem for him. We were so sad to leave this beautiful property. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this unique hotel for a peaceful break. You won't be disappointed! Thanks so much Paolo and team for looking after us so well and I wish you all the very best for the coming year. Yvonne & John

The service provided by the hotel staff was exceptional. They tried their very best to meet all our requirements (bearing in mind that we were travelling with 2 kids less than 2 years). Location is ideal, particularly if you're interested in exploring the mountains.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms are modern yet with rustic charm, and clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also really good. The host Paolo was very welcoming and gave us a lot of useful tips about the area including hiking routes. Would definitely recommend!

The impression on the website is that it is a "resort", which it isn't - it's a very pleasant but smallish family hotel. Staff (the family that owns it) were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern, tasteful and clean, with an alpine style and the breakfasts were excellent.
There was no balcony for the room and the main terrace had rather uncomfortable chairs, so sitting outside was not really an option. As a "resort" I would have expected some garden or somewhere comfortable to sit outside. It is a shame that they have closed their restaurant. The pizzeria/trattoria in the village is fine, but limited, and other restaurants are a 20 minute drive.

Dear Paul N, thank you for the time dedicated to share your experience and for choosing Orobie Alps Resort for your stay in the Alps. We are pleased to read your comment and that you appreciated the whole experience. We are happy to know that you found our rooms modern, tasteful but most off all well cleaned: one of the most important point mostly during this times. Reguarding our outside chairs, I am confident that it is your personal perception. In our external garden, all around the hotel, you can find comfortable chairs and sun loungers available for all our guests. You may didn’t noticed that. Our choice and philosophy was to create a small Resort that continues the family tradition of hospitality born in 1965. The name of "Resort" indicates a Hotel mainly equipped with very spacious and stylish suite rooms, away from the urban center and equipped with services such as the wellness center, as in our case. In our Resort, we do not have an internal restaurant. This information is well expressed both on the booking confirmation, both on our corporate website and on the various sales websites. Therefore, if you don’t want to leave the hotel, at our bar & bistro we are willing to prepare excellent selections of cheese and cold cuts and tasty sandwiches you can also carry with you for a stroll in the woods or a hike in the mountains. We really hope you will come back to visit us! Looking forward to welcoming you soon for a new and extraordinary Orobie Alps experience, Looking forward to seeing you again, Paolo Fam. My girlfriend and I had a stay of 5 nights at Orobie Alps Resort, and it was a marvellous time. Paulo, the owner of the hotel, is very helpful and kind. He shared with us some amazing hiking routes, which were absolutely amazing and with breathtaking views. Every morning we had the pleasure of being served delicious food by Paulo and his family. The views from the hotel are beautiful, wether it be by day and the long views down the valley, or the evenings with bright shining stars. The rooms were full nicely decorated with beautiful Italian wood, which gave a really cozy atmosphere. We highly recommend Orobie Alps Resort for a romantic trip.

Thank you Paolo & your beautiful young family for a wonderful stay at the Orobie Alps Resort. There is a wonderful ambience & atmosphere here, blending traditional rustic charm with very modern facilities.
Paolo gave us a fabulous recommendation for our evening meal at 'La Sorgente' a gentle 10 stroll from the hotel. We shared our delicious wood fired pizzas 🍕 with friendly owners, staff and local clientele. (always a good sign)
The breakfast outside the following morning (on the new but very traditional alpine covered terrace ) can only be described as incredible. Mouth watering fresh food and delicious flavours
This generational family owned and run hotel is a credit to its' hosts.
We wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely return again.

An amazing experience. It was a magical hotel, in a magical area. The hotel manager was extremely helpful not only in helping us organize alternative transport but in what we could expect, do and how to get the most out of our stay.
The rooms are immaculate and the service second to none. We will return to this hotel if we are ever visiting Europe again.
Thank you Orobie!

Beautiful location especially if you want to go hiking in the mountains, we loved staying here, Paolo could not have been more helpful, it really is a hidden gem and the pizzeria in the village is superb. We sat in the hotel's garden after dinner by the fire pit enjoying the breathtaking scenery after a days hiking to Lake Gemelli and lunch at the Rifugio. So if you are looking to do something off the grid this is the place to come to.
