This hotel was quiet, clean and has a cuteness factor. The staff were ok, but I am sure I met the owner and we was eager to please. The location is excellent for walking to the Bus station, taking a collectivo or Taxi and you can even walk to a large grocery store in about 20 minutes. All amenities worked...

My family of 4 stayed in a room with 2 double beds for 3 nights. Simple room with firm beds, everything was clean, good A/C. Hot water was a little spotty, took a long time to warm up and was hotter at some times than others, but adequate. Nice towels. Free wi-fi. Easy walk from the ADO bus station as...

I wanted a decent mid-range hotel in Palenque and ended up staying there twice, when driving from Merida to San Cristóbal. During our first stay we were in the annex and later we got a room in the main building. The rooms in the Annex are simpler, a bit smaller and we had the hotels water pumps just outside our...

The room was spotless. Everything worked fine: A/C, fan, screeens, in-bathroom-safe. Room at back of main building was very quiet for sleeping. Minimal English spoken, but all staff were very cordial and friendly. A pot of coffee is on from 5:00am for those with an early departure of a tour to Yaxchilan. Restaurant hours undefind. Seemed to be closed in...

We are on a budget so we were looking for a decent place to stay for a reasonable price. We really enjoyed Hotel Xibalba. Apparently Xibalba is the Mayan word for hell so we stayed in "hotel hell." The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn't have any problems with noise like a couple of...

Xibalba Nothing special nothing bad except for the constant barely tolerable hum coming from some piece of equipment in the yard below - a tall cylinder, a pump maybe. I was in room 2 in the annex nearest the main hotel across the corridor from the source of the hum; room 5 is right beside it. i do 't advise...

We stayed two nights here and the rooms were clean and adequate but the structure of the hotel has no absorbent surfaces and so you here every noise - don't expect to sleep in! The hotel is in a good position and you can walk into town. The staff are also helpful

The other reviews say it all. This is a very nice, clean hotel, and is good value. The room was small but very clean. There are excellent restaurants next door and across the street. Really, for the very reasonable price, we could not have asked for more in terms of the room. If you want to book a tour to...

Really nice, clean and comfortable room in the nicest part of town. We woke up to the birds calling and it felt like we were in a much more remote location. Good, hot, powerful shower and a very comfortable bed. The TV was very small with bad reception on many channels and the WiFi was intermittent. It´s also very convenient...

I was booked here for two nights, and I added an extra night because there is so much to see and do from the town of Palenque, such as many tours and day trips. I found the hotel without any problems. It is an easy walk, even loaded down with my two backpacks, from ADO bus station to the hotel,...
