We were promised a room with a balcony and ended up on the first floor next to the public restroom (minus one star). We were promised parking and when we arrived they told us to just park on the street (minus second star). The breakfast (included in our price) was toast, a sliced banana, cereal (no milk), and coffee (minus...

Great location in the centre of Palenque and close to the collectivo bus stop for the Ruins. Unfortunately Palenque has not much to offer itself. The rooms are boutique style, large and airy but because of its location it is noisy all night long - room #8 was where we stayed and it faced onto the street. They only accept...

We only stayed 3 nights and this hotel was nice for our short visit. The staff are friendly, the facilities are clean, and the rooms have aircon. A substantial continental breakfast is included. We had to change rooms after the first night though - the room had a lot of street noise and noisy birds on the roof first thing...

Our room was big and clean. The decor of the hotel is really modern with exposed concrete and nice wooden beams. The air conditioning was really good in sweaty Palenque and very welcome after a trip to the ruins.

Just returned from a brief three night trip to Palenque to visit the ruins at Palenque, Bonampak and Yaxchilan. Nice little hotel. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in shower, super cold AC, flat panel TV with several English language channels including CNN. Not much English spoken but could communicate quite well with my poor Spanish. Great location. Good restaurants a...

Stayed at Maya Rue on several occasions with my travel group. Great location, good stuff, good clean rooms moderately priced. Breakfast was adequate. The staff was very helpful to help carry bags for those less strong and elderly up and down the stairs to their roosm.

My recent visit was in two parts, hence two different rooms. One for three nights and another for one when I returned due to an unexpected travel delay. My initial arrival was handled by a very pleasant young lady. When asked for a low floor due to a temporary knee injury, she showed me a windowless room next to the...

Located in the center of town, a bit away from tourist central. Comfortable room, good wifi, nice staff. AC included. It is very close to where the local bus leaves for the ruins and central plaza. perfect for a night or two when seeing the ruins

Stayed at this hotel for one night before our day trip to Palenque ruins. The hotel is nicely appointed and very clean, beds comfortable. Staff were helpful. Breakfast is extra but not bad value considering what you get (toast, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, coffee and juice for 50 pesos). The only strange thing at this hotel was that the toilet in...

Stayed 1 night in Palenque on September 2015. The hotel is in good location - just of the main road with restaurants and other shops nearby. The staff was friendly and gave us the option to chose between 2 rooms - with balcony or without one (we took the one with the balcony). The rooms was big and clean with...
