The Chanabnal Boutique Hotel is nested in a piece of a tropical land. Modern and New (7 years old). It offers all the amenities of a luxury hotel in a cosy way. Only 8 rooms, spacious and very well decorated, awaits you on the road to the famous Maya pyramids from Palenque city. The italo-german owner has created a nice...

I've did a whole tour in Mexico, and Quinta Chanabnal is without a doubt the best hotel in Mexico, and even the best hotel I've ever been in my life! What is there not to love? To begin, the staff is super friendly! The hotel is built as a Mayan temple in the middle of the jungle, which means you...

LOVED It! We stayed for five nights and chose this hotel as a central location to do day trips to archeological sights. Chanabnal absolutely deserves every one of these great reviews. The service is exceptional, friendly, helpful staff...we felt completely pampered here, and at the end of a long, hot day of exploring, it was a welcome oasis of comfort....

Chanabnal is a work of art and clearly a labor of love for the environment it sits in. The owner's deep knowledge and appreciation of Maya culture and history is ingrained in the very structures of the place. Driving into the property makes you feel a world apart from the town and it is just adjacent to the temples of...

Dear Billy L, thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, I agree that it is important to underscore that the hotel is surrounded by a garden that has a lot of wildlife in it, and that some of it can be at times loud, like the monkeys, the chachalaca bird and the scarlet macaw parrot. Over the years...

This hotel is very good for visiting the site at Palenque. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was in a beautiful and quiet location. It only has 7 rooms, all suites which are dotted around the grounds. The owner is very knowledgeable about the Mayan history and the hotel which he built reflects this. There is an attractive...

Boutique hotel with just 8 suites, beautifully furnished in Mayan style, 3km from the Palenque site. All the rooms are stunning with Maya designed objects and textiles in superb taste. The owner and staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is a positive experience-today we found Howler Monkeys (2 live in the resort) and were given bananas...

We spent just 2 nights here in a junior suite on the first floor of this very small and unique hotel. Designed by the owners, it took 3 years to build and has been open for 7 years. The owner is an expert on Mayan history and has put together a design for the hotel that is absolutely unique. He...
