We were pleased with our stay at Margarita and Ed's. You were within walking distance of the National Park ruins and right in the jungle. This was by no means a 5 star accommodation but you had your needs met. There was a functioning private bathroom with a shower and a clean comfortable bed. I greatly appreciated that the room...

THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE YOU SHOULD STAY IN EL PACHAN. Everywhere else is a dive and is essentially piggybacking off these cabanas. The rooms are very clean, the showers have hot water, and Margarita offers free drinking water. Great woman, great rooms - you're basically in the middle of the forest. There is a really good restaurant/bar nearby and...

This is the second time I've stayed at Margarita & Ed's - it's simple and nothing fancy but everything you need really. I've only stayed in the section with the rooms as on both occasions the cabanas were booked out. Be prepared to get hot & sticky and make sure you bring bug spray.

Decent place to stay, comfortable, netting keeps mozzies out, Margarita is really friendly/helpful, there's great jungle/candle-lit vibe at the two nearby bars. Highly recommend visiting this place - the ruins are spectacular. Visit the waterfall near the ruins too. Also take a jungle tour with Gabriel, you can find him in Don Muchos restaurant. He'll take you to the rest...

We enjoyed our stay at Margarita & Ed's. The room was clean, bed comfortable and it had a great fan. We were pleasantly surprised that there are screens on the windows so we could leave them open at night. In the evening the calls of the Howler Monkeys made them seem all around the area. Although it seems remote, there...

I had an amazing stay at Margarita and Ed's. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to meet Margarita hersteld, but don Pedro was there to help everywhere he could. The cabanas are lovely, basic and clean. You have the impression of being somewhere far from any civilisation while staying in their mini jungle. Just one piece of advice: stay away...

Margartia & Ed's Cabanas are decent rooms to sleep in. If your going to the jungle it's not like your looking for much comfort and leisure. Pretty much a place to keep your bags and rest. The location is great. There are several restaurants with live music every night. Close to the ruins and everyone is quite friendly.

We loved Margarita & Ed's. We stayed in the new building and it was clean, spacious and reasonably priced. A 2 minute stroll brings you to Don Mucho's Restaurant (the best place to eat in or around Palenque, in my opinion.) We'd previously stayed a little closer to the ruins at Maya Bell and loved it, but being close to...

If you don't fancy jungle and all what it comes along, maybe this place isn't for you - and I mean Panchan. Margarita provides a good balance if you don't mind stay in the jungle but still protected from it. We stayed in one of the rooms without ACs but with an okay fan, outside our window we could hear...

Margarita is a gem and so are her rooms. Ed and Margarita's is a part of the Panchan complex which has both cabins and two story hotel style buildings with air conditioning. Margarita lives on site (Ed has passed away) and her home is also the reception area. She is very warm and inviting, but she also has her reasonable...
