Our family stayed here at the start and end of our trip as it was close to airport and we had late and really early flights. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Particularly the gentleman at the front desk on the late night of the 24th. The hotel was clean and typical quality for this chain. I Would recommend especially for easy airport access.

i loved it no problem. the front desk service was very friendly, with the right answers to our questions, and gregorio was very helpful and politely with us. made us comfortable as well as the manager juan. i will definitely book my spot when i come back. thank you all for your hospitality !

We stayed here one night to be close to the airport while in transit. The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and organized. Isabella at front desk is so helpful and kind. The location is perfect. Very clean hotel with a pool and a nice outdoor space. The breakfast was great along with friendly staff! Thank you!

I have literally just left this hotel.
The quote for their own airport taxi is 10 dollars US. That is the quote from reception.
On arrival at the airport, a short 15 minute drive, the driver wants $17.
This is ridiculous, I can only assume there is some sort of malfeasance going on.
Avoid.

No cleaning of room during a two-day stay, after two reminders, despite reminders to the reception. Had to beg for toilet paper and emptying of trash. The phone in the room doesn't work so calling the reception was via my own phone. Nobody came to look at it until after a couple of reminders. This is not acceptable at a hotel of this purported standard and high price.

My layover in SDQ was utilized for resting. I did enjoy my room. It was clean with all the amenities. I enjoyed sleeping long hours without any interruptions.
The members of Staff were pleasant and service in the restaurant was quick. The hotel is in close proximity to the SDQ airport and was ideal for my layover. Taxis were available at the behest of the front desk.

My biggest complaint is that at midnight someone tried to open the door. It was either an employee or someone with key access. Thankfully we had the extra security lock on so they were unable to fully open it. Regardless I think that’s a major security concern and would not recommend due to safety. Otherwise I would’ve labelled this hotel as average.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, during our trip in Dominican Republic, for in and out, because it was close to the airport.
First night, we paid cash in euros, they made the change equal to dollars!
Second night, we paid by credit card, but they said that there was no more standard rooms, only suite, which was of course much more expensive. When we arrived in the "suite", it was the same than the standard room we had the first night!! For a price much higher...
And for the 2 night, we heard a continious noise, so my wife couldnot sleep because of this noise, coming from engines in the center of the hotel. And if you have a room in front of the road, you will also hear the traffic all the night.
I wrote to the director of the hotel, he said he understood, and gave me a 50% discount for our next stay in this hotel!!!!
Never go to this hotel, better pay more a taxi to go further!!!

My wife and I arrived at the Quality Hotel Airport Santo Domingo at about 6 p.m. on 27 January from Santiago de Cuba. We had spent all day at the Santiago de Cuba airport awaiting a delayed flight. We were therefore glad we had booked at the Quality Hotel close to the Santo Domingo airport as we were very tired. We had booked our room through the Choice Hotels website and had a guaranteed booking (Choice Hotels reference no. 60285445) and had specifically chosen an airport hotel as we were leaving early next morning on an American Airlines flight to Miami at 8 a.m. The hotel promises breakfast from 5 a.m. which suited us well. However when we got to reception the receptionist said that we had been specifically chosen to receive a special "all-inclusive" offer including overnight stay, meals and taxis. We were puzzled until we found out that the hotel was proposing to transport us to another hotel in Santo Domingo by taxi where we would be given an evening meal. We were very tired and did not know what to think. However we were told there was rebuilding in the hotel and it was very noisy (although we saw other guests being checked in) and there was no room for us. We were so tired that we accepted the offer as we needed a rest. A taxi was then provided and it took us 40 minutes to be transported to the Hotel Plaza Naco in downtown Santo Domingo. The Hotel Plaza Naco checked with the Quality Hotel on the phone and said there was no way anyone was going to pay for our meals --- we would have to do that ourselves. The Quality Airport Hotel paid for the taxi and our return trip to the airport at 5.30 a.m. next morning. But what sort of Airport Hotel is it that fails to honour a confirmed booking, and trundles weary travellers to the other end of the city? In addition we think we have been charged USD 175 by the Quality Hotel whilst the Plaza Naco told me that the rate we were charged by them was USD 87. So that the Quality Hotel also did a very nice deal for themselves. Fortunately we have Choice Hotels here in Norway and I am going to take this matter up with them. After a week in Samaná, had an early flight at Santo Domingo airport to continue my honeymoon, so, instead of waking up early in Samana to go directly to the airport – around 2h30 car trip – my wife and I decided to arrive around 23h00 at this hotel and get around 6h00 of sleep.
Once we arrived check in went fine and room 430 (remember this number) was given to us.
On the aisle we asked for a hotel staff – seems somebody from room service – were the elevator was and the person helped us with the luggage to the room.
Room was clean and until that moment I was quite satisfied with the hotel. HOWEVER, once TV was off and I try to get some sleep there was some annoying noise that didn’t let us sleep.
After some minutes I call front desk and a maintenance person went up. I speak quite good Spanish and he informed me this was an exhaustion noise and I asked if the whole hotel was like that. For my surprise he replied that all rooms were like that.
Had to improve some paper on the ears, cover them with pillows and be able to sleep 2 hours tops.
Breakfast ok and on check-out the same front desk clerk was there, but didn’t ask about our problem and when I mention about the noise, didn’t pay much attention.
If someone is on the same situation as I was, probably is quieter sleep at the airport runaway than this room 430, or, considering the maintenance person, the whole hotel.
Summary
What I was looking for: A decent hotel to sleep a few hours before an early flight.
Pros: Before lie down and turn the TV off, the hotel was fine.
Cons: Couldn’t get a decent sleep. Very poor service, as my problem wasn’t solved.
Stay away from this hotel.
