buffet menu, foods, services is very good. room services is excellent. room is very cleaning. deluxe room is excellent. we have very good experience in this hotel. this is a very good hotel. we visit again this hotel.
A marked improvement from our experience in April this year and the last visit on 12 June 2022, from Reception, restaurant to the room, all round. Chamodi and Vimansa made us feel very much at home and important. They are a great asset to the hotel to get repeat guests. We already made a decision to visit the hotel again soon. I hope Chaminda and Bernard will be free to meet us at our next visit.
The Pegasus Hotel is one of the best Hotels in Colombo by the sea with an outdoor pool. The Hotel Management under the guidance of the General Manager Mr Bernard Silva and all the staff were very friendly and made sure we had the best at all times. cheers to the chef Chinthaka Jayasekera and all Kitchen staff for the varieties of quality food the supplied for the buffet and checked that the guests were enjoying the food they supplied. Restaurant staff were very caring, polite and all out to help you with the selection of meals The rooms were cleaned daily and kept spotless at all times by the housekeeping staff especially Thilina Madusanke and Dahami . I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who likes a homely atmosphere. Although this is not a Five Star hotel I would say it was better than a Five Star Hotel. Thankyou to every one who made our stay a memorable one, We will make this our regular Hotel as we have done in previous visits to Sri Lanka, hope to see you all soon once the country comes back to what is used to be like the good old days. Thankyou Mr Nalake Fernando For booking us into this Hotel.…
We had our wedding there. Everything was great and went well. The venue itself exceeds our expectations. Super friendly staff & the food was amazing. Special thank goes to Mr Kasun Mendis, our co-ordinator, it was so easy to work with him, he carefully listens to our requirements & gives his maximum efforts to meet them. Exceptional service at all. We highly recommend Pegasus Reef.

Rooms were Excellent ! Location was 👍👍marvellous! Especially at night .. For lunch, it would be much better,if there were some more choices & the dinner as well as the breakfast was superb . The 3 piece band was 👌👌👌 super duper super .. i personally enjoyed it till the end just after i had my dinner.. selection top class suitable for dinner function .. As a whole , the entire stay was 100000% good.
“We love the brightness of the reception area. It was nice that there were already a couple of comfortable and chic seats where you can sit while waiting for someone or your turn at the reception. Our room was garden view from the ground floor. It was a perfect size for a couple. The bed was comfy. We have ordered a vegetarian sandwich it was taken some time but taste was perfect and fresh. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet have good selection of food and tasty. Dressing table need more light even their is a table lamp however it’s not enough lights. staff are great in reception, F&B and housekeeping. Their was a issue with my booking about 10% discount however front office staff was fix it. One more day I will stay and highly recommend this hotel for short stays and family gatherings. Thank you.”(Lelum)…

We booked banquet hall for our daughter's wedding on 13th of May 2022. It was a pleasure to be at Pegasus Reef Hotel which is my Alma Matar where i was a trainee in kitchen department back in 1982. F&B Manager,Kasun,Bandara(Bell Desk)made our function a memorable one for each and everyone. Food served from Banquet kitchen of Chef Rajapaksha was excellent.Well laid food in plenty were a much talked about highlight. I am not suprised as Executive Chef is Dinesh Niranjan,a capable culinary expert. His kitchen brigade was very helpful and pleasing from the beginning to the end. All the very best to my Alma Matar, the Pegasus Reef her Sons and Daughters.
On paper this looks like a good 4* hotel, and initial impressions support this. However once you’ve been here a night or 2, opinions drop. We were initially given a room on the ground floor looking out into the pool and gardens. Very tired after a drive from the north, we were just glad to get a rest. After a really bad night with asthma, we woke to find our clothes felt damp. We spent the day in Columbo and returned to the hotel. Clothes still damp, as was the fresh bed linen. Spoke to reception to ask for a room change. This was exacerbated by a really bad asthma attack. The staff were initially unwilling to change rooms and kept insisting that we should “wait for the AC to work”, this as my inhaler was permanently fixed to my face. A different room (3rd floor) was only secured after threats to call an ambulance and bill the hotel. The new room appeared better, no dampness evident. However we found that the AC did not cool the room and it sat at a constant 25’C…. The floors were so sloppy with condensation we had to put towels down to prevent injury. All in all, this hotel has a tired appearance and is in need of upgrading to warrant 4*. It mostly caters to weddings, and the guests. For an overnight at a wedding, I guess you’re not overly bothered. If we’d been staying any longer than 3 nights we would have changed hotels.…
