Nice secure resort. Very friendly German owner and filipino staff and a couple of friendly dogs - just a chilled place to stay. Just a few minutes walk from Sugar beach and all the beach restaurants and snack bars there. It was really hot when I stayed here and I could never quite get the AC cool enough - its probably slightly underpowered for the size of the room but normally it should be OK. Unusually it is wired with euro plugs but they do provide a couple of adaptors. Nice breakfast and Sari Sari store on site for any essentials. A fridge but no cooking facilities -nearby Thai restaurant great for dinner. Loved staying here.

It was a planned getaway with my cousins; however, we really don't know where to stay since we decided to get a room once we arrive in Sta. Fe.. My cousin contacted Sunshine Resort and surprisingly, they offered us the most affordable price compared to the other resorts considering the short noticed. The room can accommodate more than 10 pax and I can say it's very tidy. Staffs were very accommodating as well. Definitely a good place to stay.

Only good things: A beautiful island, a quiet resort of six rooms tidy and very clean, the kindness of the staff, Loraine, the owner, has been like a mother with us, friendly and always ready to satisfy our need with the smile. She made us feel at home! The days spent here remained in our memories and in our heart.....right know we are all together preparing a BBq in the garden...amazing!!

great stay on this hotel..i was with family .everything accessible..staff are attentive and helpful, surely will be back to stay again.beach was lovely and food a, are really sumption on this island..only the transportation are pricey but the rest is fine

We initially booked to stay here for 3 nights. Great location, a short walk from the centre of Santa Fe. Beautiful gardens and lovely, well equipped rooms. Rooms were very clean and tidy. We ended up having to stay an extra 2 nights due to being stuck on the island as all ferries were cancelled due to the typhoon. Staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Contacting the ferry terminals for us, arranging transport - nothing was too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend staying here! Thanks for looking after us so well!

Spent two nights at Sunshine Bantayan,very quiet & peaceful area apart from building construction at the adjacent premises taking place at the time of our stay. Clean rooms & nicely laid out garden.5 minute walk to the beach.Very impressed with the breakfast although this wasn't free with booking conditions. Exceptional staff.No hesitation in staying here should I return.

This is a lovely property owned by a wonderful family. A charming garden greets the visitors. Although the layout of the garden could still be improved. The main building has 14 splendid rooms. We stayed in a budget room with a fan. The room was very spacious, a family of 5 could easily fit in it. Every square inch of the room was ultra clean. It has also a separate toilet and shower room. The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly like a baby. I just had a minor problem about the sink's drainage and the weird smell of concrete but I managed to bring an Ambi-pur room freshener. Finally, one thing that this resort has is a very courteous and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place for solo, couple, and family visitors to Santa Fe.

I spend 4 nights at this resort and i would recommend it. Clean nice room with private toilet and shower. Terace with nice view. Very close to the sugar beach. Quiet location and close to the center of Santa Fe.

We have now stayed at this resort on 4 occasions and it's beautiful so peaceful. The Staff. Staff are brilliant always smiling. Food . Excellent. Property. Fantastic they recently opened 6 more rooms all to a high standard and very very clean.The gardens are very well maintained and tidy the rooms are of a very good size with separate bathroom and toilet. On request they will put a fridge in your room an fill it with beer happy days .The A.C. is brilliant unlike some .The Sunshine Bantayan is simply a fantastic place to stay we will be back there in May ....You will love it as much as we do ......

It’s an owner’s personalized operated small lodging facility!! Completely a different ambience. It’s either you will like it or you won’t. Thpically like a little barangay village house in the older days. No tv. Nothing fancy Small toilet but clean. You can request the owner to cook Bbq for you;)
