I have reviewed this restaurant before and am pleased to say that every time that we visit we are always pleased with the great service and quality of the food. The homemade soup is delicious as are the jacket potatoes, we had prawns in one and coronation chicken in the other. The pot of coffee is hot and gives two...

Stayed at wolds village on many occasions and every time is it excellent. The rooms are unique, the food is very good and the price is surprising good value. The owners work very hard to provide this level from their hands on approach which evident. I would highly recommend staying here over any other local hotel. Make sure you book...

I have visited Wolds Village a few times for lunch, so when my husband suggested a long overdue date night I suggested here. We weren't disappointed. The room (The Victorian) was gorgeous with lots of nice little touches from the complimentary toiletries to the handmade chocolate buttons and luxury refreshments selection. First job after checking in, in the afternoon, was...

This was our second visit to Wolds Village. Our first visit about 18 months ago was faultless so we couldn't wait to return. The owners are lovely and make check in and check out very quick and easy. The only thing that let it down for us this time was the Gothic room was a bit dusty in places and...

Booked a night here to celebrate our birthdays. It's a lovely quirky place, quite far away from anything which was just what we wanted. We had lunch in the cafe which was lovely and breakfast was fantastic. Lovely rooms and friendly service. Beautiful setting and you can walk a couple of miles to nearby village and pub.

My second lunch visit to this venue was just as memorable as the first. I booked for a full lunch the first time with 3 ex colleagues and found the food delicious followed by an enjoyable browse around the quirky shop. As we are all interested in art forms much discussion was had around the little art gallery. The second...

A friend and I stayed here (unfortunately only for one night) so I got to see two of the rooms. Each is decorated and furnished in a particular style, and to an amazingly high standard. On arrival I wondered whether we would have a night disturbed by traffic noise, as the complex is on a main road just by a...
