I stayed here over Xmas 2012. Run by two brothers and their wives I found this hotel to be immaculate and I mean, immaculate! The owners could not do enough to help, and even drove me to a nearby village to Sunday Mass. The menu of the day for lunchtimes and evening was very good value , 3 courses including bread, wine and water/gaseosa and very varied . Although by the road, I was not troubled by the road noise (had a front room) with views of the woodland and distant mountains. Yes it is a functional hotel, as the previous reviewer mentioned, but then Guardo is not a holiday resort and you would not stay here unless you were a walker and wanted to enjoy the wonderful countryside and mountains around. It was very reasonable in price, warm, clean and friendly with good food and visiting workmen made for interesting company.

What an excellent family hotel run by 2 helpful brothers. They arranged secure parking for our Harleys indoors with a nearby lift to our room. Everything was clean and tidy. No English was spoken but communication was not a problem. The meals are home-cooked and very tasty. Breakfast was adequate but simple. We stayed 2 nights and had an excellent touring day around the lakes and mountains of the nearby national park.

maybe unlikely that tourist would end up in this businessmans hotel. Guardo does not have much (anything) to attract the tourist being largely industrial.
The hotel is clean..modern..with spacious rooms but a bit soulless.
At the front there is traffic noise and at the back we experienced noise fro a family who seemed to be living under the fire escape.
Whatever down sides exist the warmth of the welcome and excellent service offsets this. Food was never ending and wholesome.

Yo tampoco lo sé. DeberÃas llamar por teléfono al hotel y preguntarlo, asà te informarán.
Buenas tardes, yo estuve entre semana y no tuve ningún problema, de todas maneras reservé por Booking. Quizás si viaja en fin de semana haya más gente. De todas maneras no creo que tenga problemas y hay unos cuantos hoteles. Al final todo depende de lo arriesgado que sea uno. Disfrute de la zona y buen viaje!
me imagino que puedes ir también sin reservar entre semana. los fines de semana yo reservarÃa. sobre todo en temporada de caza y pesca
