Mel, Gary and the staff are a blessing in disguise. Third visit to this place in 6 months. You can't ask for anything more from all of them. Everyone works tirelessly round the clock to keep the place like clock work. We ate from the kitchen every night and not one meal was a disappointment. Room, bathrooms, communal areas and...

If you're looking for somewhere to stay whilst climbing in the El Chorro area, this is it. It's got everything you'd need with beautiful views, gardens and a pool. The laid back atmosphere is great and the owners are really helpful and on it with any questions or issues you've got. I will certainly be going back, soon hopefully!

Spent a week at the Olive Branch climbing the local crags. Had a brill time, the climbs are really good. The OB is in a fantastic location on the hillside with amazing views, secluded and peaceful. The accommodation itself is basic and aimed at the climbers, so don't expect any frills!! It's really rustic but has everything you'll need, with...

Great friendly vibe. Helpful staff, great food, good value. Excellent place to stay for a relaxing climbing holiday. Good crags within walking distance. Not much in El chorro so advise you go to the supermarket and bank before you arrive.

We had a great time over this winter in El Chorro. Mel was the best host, and she was awfully quick in reserving our spots and finding comfortable mattresses for us to sleep on. The food was always perfectly cooked, the pets always friendly and we met some truly amazing people. If you're there around Christmas, make sure not to...

Recently returned from a one week climbing holiday with the Merseyside Mountaineering Club. We stayed at the Olive Branch which is situated in a great location. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis but ended up booking an evening meal most nights. The Olive Branch offers a warm and friendly atmosphere and caters exceptionally well for vegetarians. Brilliant trip.

Just got back from a brilliant trip! Lovely spot in the hills. Perfect for climbers but also for anyone wanting to explore the local area and the famous Camino. There's en-suite doubles for couples (bunkbeds for the kids too), dorms, and tents for those on a budget. There's a reason that people keep coming back. Gary and Mel are great...

Killer hostel located just outside el chorro. Full of adventurers and very friendly staff. The food is amazing at this place, definitely one of the best meals I have ever had in hotel/hostel. We did not spend there night as we had a camper van but rooms seemed to be really nice. They can set you up with climbing guides...

I had an ensuite B&B for 6 nights. My room was large, clean with a beautiful view of the hills. All the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Meals were fantastic, made fresh daily and made from scratch using local ingredients and supporting local farmers. I travelled with family who are climbers.I'm not a climber yet I enjoyed my stay...
