We stayed here for one night and were very impressed with the place. Our room was comfortable, clean and well appointed with a great countryside view from the window. The staff were friendly and seem like a really happy team. The wifi worked well. There is a very nice bar and eating area and also an outside terrace when the...

A little confused by this little Inn, is it a hotel with Premier Inn like rooms, a function venue, a pub, a restaurant????.On the plus side the welcome was ok, the room comfortable but small for a 'Deluxe'as booked and the evening meal was good. We also slept very well on a very comfy bed. The negatives though are purely...

Dear 1988man: Thank you for taking notes, time and effort during your stay at the Crossway's to provide us with your feedback - we welcome all Guest comments with an open mind to continuously improve our service standards. Really beautiful views, friendly staff, the room was really nice and the bed was really comfy. The cooked breakfast was the best we ever had and the hotel rating is 4 but I think it should be consider for a 5.

After a visit to Cheddar Gorge the Crossways is a great location. A little village North Wooton is a few miles from Wells and Cheddar the hotel is isolated but has everything. The rooms are lovely, the bar and outside decking area are first class. The decor is modern and the place is spotless. The staff are extremely friendly and...

We stayed for two nights when visiting Wells and Bath on our way to Cornwall It is a rather strange establishment about 6 miles from Wells. It is a rabbit warren of rooms . We travelled as a couple, but booked a family room as all doubles were booked. The room was fairly spacious for a couple but would not...

We visited to have some Sunday roast and were pleased when the carvery was available. You choose at the bar if you want one two or three courses, which I found a bit odd as most people don't know before the main meal if they can manage pudding. Service was great, lots of attention at all times, but slices of...

Staff were friendly, the food was delicious and the room was very nice (if a little dusty in places, but not particularly dirty). Beautiful location with views of the surrounding fields etc. Quiet in the morning, peaceful at night. A little out of the way, but the drive in to town isn't too far and the views are that stunning...

Checked in Friday 26th August, there was a massive function going on of which unlike other hotels/inns I've stayed in in the past, we weren't informed about and the music was really loud and went on until 12.30-1am which was delightful..not! Stayed in room 113 which has a nice comfy four poster double bed and great jacuzzi bath. On first...

Stayed for a few days and loved it. Staff were great and credit to the young lady serving breakfast which was one of the best I have had in a hotel. Hot tasty and plenty of it. Location is great in a triangle between Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury so easy access to all. Bit awkward to find but no...
