Our two night stay at Kimeret Place was a wonderful experience in a delightful getaway paradise. The views from the deck and yard were some of nature's best. The rooms were elegantly decorated and equiped with everything you could need including tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. Gil was friendly, knoweldgeable about the area and helpful. Every detail was...

From the moment we stepped through the door at the start of our stay Gill spoilt us. Our room was lovely and the views were breathtaking. The information on things to do and places to eat were great and Gill's willingness to book boats etc made things so easy. We loved the breakfasts, the cakes that waited us on a...

Kimeret Place was the last stop on our three week New Zealand trip and it was our favourite. Gill is the perfect host (good night stories and -chocolates on your pillow, lots of help organizing daytrips), the house is luxurious and spotless, the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The fullsome praise in all the reviews is undoubtedly well-deserved. Though it is difficult to capture in mere words the pampered pleasure and complete delight we felt after too short a stay at the Kimeret. The attention to detail and friendly but professional service was unsurpassed - without a doubt, the best B & B we have ever stayed in....

No need to repeat others' praise. We left as friends.and what more can you ask. It is so quiet - the perfect place to unwind and recover from jetlag at the start of our trip. Don't miss the boat trip up the Abel Tasman it was a great day out. Good value fresh fish and seafish at The Smokehouse in...
