My amazing egg breakfast at the Compton swan! Perfectly executed and taste even better! I had the pleasure to have my breakfast in the garden with the company of this glorious weather! Thank you so much everyone for your professional hospitality.

I had a double room which was comfortable and very clean with a modern shower room . I don't watch a lot of TV which is good as the telly was tiny but as I say not an issue for me . All staff and there were a lot were all extremely friendly and attentive . The bar area was...

We had a great Sunday lunch. Between us we had the beef, chicken and pork. All were superb. Lunch was £13 and worth every penny. The tastes were amazing. I believe the veg was all grown fresh in the pub garden. I like to eat Sunday roast out most weeks and this is probably one of the best I have...

The sort of place you can take your parents or business clients for lunch and I've done both recently. Good service, good range of choices on the menu. Beer is a little pricy and varies on how well kept it is. They're happy for us to take our dogs in too. Looking forward to the BBQ they're doing for our...

Beer is charged at West end prices. £4.20 for a local beer takes the p***. Not even in the centre of Oxford is it this dear. Avoid this place as you have pubs in East Ilsley and Aldworth 2 miles away. Much more reasonable for a pint of local brew. £2.90 in fact. This pub is not good.

Apart from a slight problem with a total lack of staff when we arrived and after a while we had a slightly chilly reception from a harassed lady, although there was no one there. Our room...

Stayed at the Compton Swan for one night, and right from out arrival felt at home. The rooms were newly refurbished and modern, the bar was well stocked, but the Jewel in the Compton Swan's our terrific hostess. Thank you for having us, we will be back soon! Harry & Keiran

Stayed for one night on business. Check in was nice and fast, the compact double room was pretty much as small as a double room could be and didn't have a wardrobe just a small hanging rail, plenty enough for me mind you. Very clean in the bedroom. No bath just a very small shower cubicle. Sadly no room for...

Thanks so much to Geoff, Connie & Marie for putting on such a splendid spread of food for our sons christening! Our 50 guests loved the Salmon with Cous Cous, crispy chicken and roasted vegetables, hot buttered potatoes and gorgeous salads. The garden was set up beautifully and the children were all made very welcome! We also stayed for 2...
