Service was very average. We were not given information about check-in times. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. We did not feel welcome at all.the room was okay, very basic for the price. But lovely area with beautiful architecture. They did not give us information about other attractions in Cape Town and were not well informed.

We were received at the reception with lots of laughter and good advises on our upcoming adventures im Cape Town. The staff was very sweet. As two guys who loves to cook, unfortunately we found the kitchen disgusting. Rotten food in a way too stuffed refridgerator, nothing seemed to be cleaned, and none at the reception could tell us where... More

This place is epic. It is quaint and cozy, giving you the feeling of being at home. the wooden floors and communal spaces make this intimate little place feel quite homely. It's location is perfect, it sits right above some of the best restaurants in the City, with Jerry's; the best burger place in Cape Town, Narona's; the best pizza... More

I had a great stay at Bohemian Lofts! I would definitely recommend the hostel! I stayed for three weeks with my mum and cousin, while we were visiting my sister who lives in Observatory. We had a private room with the three of us, but there are also dorms. I felt really at home in the hostel. The staff is... More

Me and my family stay there for 3 weeks. Certainly I´ll be back if I need a hostel in Cape Town. All people that works there is a 2nd family in Cape Town. The local is simple but clean. Staying there made sense for my short stay and I wasn't disappointed. Clean room with a soft bed. Very accommodating staff which always makes a difference;) I was luckily put in one of the rooms facing a side street as I'm afraid we made a little noise.

Nice place. The dorms are clean and not too packed. They're a bit noisy as they face the main street though. The neighbourhood is really cool and not so touristy. It has nice places to go to eat and drink very close to the hostel. Kitchen and living room are a bit small and not so good to chill.

Upon arrival, a man was being physically thrown out with 3 prostitutes. There was blood on the sheets, which I had to pay extra money to have changed.
