Stayed there for a night in a business trip. Wow, what a lovely place. All guests seemed like foreigners. I was the only local. Small(ish) guest house, great decor and very comfy lush rooms. Beautiful setting and the breakfast was outstanding. Wish I could have stayed on for a bit of R&R, would've been the perfect venue!!

Great value, excellent service, very comfortable large room, and a beautiful pool & bar area with mountain views. Very good internet connection allowed me to work remotely. Convenient location with several restaurants within a hundred metres, with central Claremont & Newlands shopping 5 minutes by car. Highly recommended.

great location, clean establishment, friendly staff. Philip needs help, he is good in what he does to man the guest house, but fails to be creative for vegetarians, he needs help on what alternatives can he provide for breakfast. We stayed a week & all we could have was fruit & yoghurt, coffee & eggs for breakfast. Ask guests for...

Entering the foyer of Roodenburg house was like stepping into a page of the " Home and Garden" magazine. Phillip met us at reception and was attentive to our every comfort during our stay and prepared a delicious cooked breakfast every morning. We felt very secure and enjoyed the quiet beautifully maintained surroundings. Highly recommend this delightful B&B. We discovered...

An excellent guest house where the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was light and airy and very well appointed.Although not central in Cape Town we found it very accessible by both public transport and by taxi. We stayed here on a recommendation from a friend and we would certainly be more than happy to pass on our...

What a delight Roodenburg House is, with the most charming, efficient and considerate staff. Our special vegan needs were wonderfully catered for in this beautiful guesthouse. Even though it's on a busy road, our room was wonderfully quiet.

Roodenburg Guest House is really fantastic. For an old (1882) house it has been beautifully maintained and in fact quite charming. The rooms and amenities are very modern. My best is the sunroom alongside the pool area, which is really stunning, allowing you the benefit of being 'outside' in the sun, but without the wind! Roodenburg will definitely be one...

This establshment has very comfortable rooms with all good amenities, but looses points on the managements lack of attention to detail. On arrival we went to have a beer in the garden overlooking the pool, unfortunately there were no glasses for the beer, eventually we were given wine glasses for the beer. On waking up the following morning and setting...
