I think that all the views are good because they tend to be of the magnificent garden. This bed-and-breakfast is set in a lovely residential neighborhood where guests are welcomed like part of the family but also given all the independence they may want. For our breakfasts, our host initially stocked our suite with fresh fruit and a wide variety...

I got married at Ivydene, and have had the pleasure of several consequent stays in various apartments there :) I can only praise the warm hospitality. Lucille is like a good witch, buzzing all over on her broom, sprinkling scents, flowers, fruitsin all the tooms. It really is a home away from home. And she is well connected in Cape...

The Ivydene is a charming old cape farmhouse tucked away from its bustling Rondebosch neighborhood down a secluded lane. Lucille, Jacqui, and the staff are warm, friendly, and offer a lovely authentic hospitality throughout your stay. They had great suggestions and connections to sites and other accommodations in South Africa. Hanging out in the gardens or by the pool either...
