This was my second time at this hotel. Aside from the misc animals on display there are 2 short trails through the rainforests. The property is in 20 acres and there is a resident Cassowary that may be around. The campground is nice although the community kitchen is a bit small. Only one small 2-plate stove and one grill (1...

We fully recommend this roadside restaurant on the route to Cape Tribulation - hard to miss but look for the main sign on the roof. Whilst on a small group tour we had an excellent lunch here and we were all impressed by the choice and quality. The meal included a fruit platter including some unusual Australian fruits. What makes...

is an apt name for this place not only for the rainforest and reef seekers but for the many animals that live here. The park, Cafe and camp facilities have a caring and cared for feel from the great vegetarian options in the cafe (they even have soy milk) to the paper towels and soap in the camp toilets and...

There were good and bad points of our 3 day stay at Lync's. We arrived in the afternoon and checked in, the location is beautiful, got to our cabin they are quite old, was very clean, our aircon didnt work well at all being so hot this time of year that was frustrating, walked out the back of our cabin...

The service was so so. Not friendly, not cold. The room was very much of a motel room - with dust and dead insects on the floor. There were some hairs in shower as well. I've experienced the similar when stayed in outback motels however my family was not impressed. If the staff was friendly then would have been different.

Dropped in for lunch as we had been told they do a great lunch (and dinner). Ordered the tropical chicken burger, hamburger and a smoothie at 12pm right before a couple of bus loads stopped off. Waited 45min for our food to arrive. Cut the chicken burger in half and saw that it was raw. Told the lady, who I...

My wife and I stayed here in our caravan for 3 nights and really enjoyed the quiet rainforest experience. Toilets and showers are only average but adequate. We had a powered grass site and it was easy to reverse park. There were very few caravans there, mainly camper vans or motor homes. It appears that caravaners are reluctant to go...

My family and I stopped here for lunch on on way to Cape Tribulation as it was recommended by the ladies running the Daintree river cruise. We were extremely disappointed! When we arrived we were not greeted by anyone so we found a seat and waited and waited..... No one came over or even bothered to acknowledge us. So I...

Stopped for lunch enroute to cape tribulation. Very good food and service, with true rainforest ambience - snakes, wallabies and parrots :) Good selection of vegetarian food as well, ample parking space

We stopped here for lunch on our trip to Cape Tribulation had a great feed, fed the Wallabies, and had a talk to Barron the resident sulphur crested cockatoo, after lunch they brought some Pythons for a bit of a roam on the lawn out front. All in all a great place for a quick stop or a stopover
