This was the most magical place we have ever been in. The facade of the property os so impressive just as you come out and then everything gets better, the views, the surroundings, the accommodation, the rooms, the service, the smiles of the host and the staff and the memories. Will be back as soon as the borders open x
This is a very cute place nestled in the corner of a hill before Kasol (10 minutes drive). The place is owned by a very friendly and helpful couple. The owner, Mr. Aman ji, will go out of his way to help his guests. For instance, we reached this place very late on our anniversary night, yet they managed to bake an organic cake as a surprise for us. Rooms are pretty spacious and well maintained with a separate garden. This place is within reach of all the commercial places with good Kasol vibes, yet secluded enough to give you your private space. Amazing hospitality, must visit!
This is a place that dreams are made of. It's hard to put in words what this place makes you feel. But I doubt there would be anyone who visits this place for the first time and doesn't find it "unbelievable". I couldn't hold myself back while complementing the owners for their vision of this place. Aman and Rashim make a great team who have managed to put together a resort with fabulous architecture and great aesthetics. The detailing that can be seen in various aspects of the property leaves you awestruck. From Kullu design linen to wooden khadau, from walls adorned with more than 100 yrs old pictures to corners decorated with a variety of plants, from burst of pleasant fragrances to the interesting brass bathing set in the washrooms, from the unforgettable Kathkuni style wooden architecture to the gratifying walkway to the rooms, from the sound of Parvati river gushing nearby to the chirps of birds...there is so much and much more that please your senses that this place is a must visit for anyone travelling to this part of Himachal. There is also an almost quaint Shiv mandir within the resort with it's minimal yet stunning. The lush gardens make you want to spend all day outside admiring the whole set up and the fascinating rooms make you never want to leave. The entire place is clearly been made with a lot of love and personal interest. It oozes charm in each and every corner of the landscape. Big bonus was meeting Bhaloo, Dylon, Bulbul and Cheeta, the resident pooches with such different personalities. The service is good and Aman's personal involvement in making sure a proper and prompt service is delivered is rarely found in hospitality these days. The food, although appetising, is overpriced (even though it's supposedly organic). I wish there was some provision for air conditioning in the rooms because it got pretty hot and a stand fan didn't really suffice.…
Basically my review is not to demean the property. It is an excellent and most beautiful and well managed places in Kasol but I would rate this property ZERO for hospitality. Service is slow, staff is slow and not to forget there food serving style is DISAPPOINTING as hell. They make the other person feel weird for ordering more than once. Food takes ages to come to your room. Lot of money is taken but not enough facilities. I’d suggest to stay in basic hotels in kasol than this as it’s also way too far from the actual kasol. Overall not so happy by paying so much money with not enough hospitality. You can visit here once only for the beauty of the mountains with the heritage style architecture of the resort.
We had read a lot about this place and managed to stay at this place in March 2021. The rooms are huge, airy, well made and a good place to be in. The place is just stunning but ALL BE READY TO CLIMB AROUND 70-90 STEPS EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO GET OUT OF THE ROOM. And mind you, this is not an easy climb and nor is it advisable for older people. The owner is a polished Gentleman who was kind enough to share his views of the hotel. We were given outstanding service and were served breakfast in the garden. For the young crowd this is worth a stay though pricey.
