we stayed in september 2019 at this hotel. room was clean, bathroom clean. during our stay there was no food available at the guest house.( chef not available) Also the hotel is about 20 minutes trek from main road, thru a bridge. ( note that vehicles do not go on this bridge, so luggage has to be carried by self), There is no proper road to the guest house, and there is steep walk upwards in reaching the hotel. hot water not available. A word of advice is that please inquire all details before planning a stay there.
Our stay at Snow View Guest House was of one night and it was recently visited by us in the month of june. It is a nice getaway place for people travelling from hustle bustle city life. Situated very close to manikaran gurudwara. And approx 20 mints trekk from Kasol main market. The route to get to the hotel is not via plain roads, instead get on your shoes and you will have to walk a little to reach to the place. Initially i got petrified a little because of my hurting knees and the walk to the hotel (as you see the roads are not well defined in places like this). But to my surprise my mood was quickly changed upon reaching to the hotel. The hotel is situated amidst greenery, mountains and very very close to nature. Definitely I will go again for food. You will find amazingly good food and will not regret your stay. My favourite recommendations would be Pizza(the best i have ever tasted so far), Pasta, Thukpa, Mushroom Bruchetta, French fries(the best in the world) and amazing fresh juices. The ambience is to die for and the place is safe for girls traveller. The management at hotel is very humble and courteous. They have shown immediate action for any help required for a comfortable stay. I have more than one reasons to visit to this place again. What will be yours? Go find out yourself 🙂…
We were simply shocked when realized how far this property from main road. It is just impossible to come here without porter’s help to bring your luggage… and it would cost you additional Rs. 500 per item. Be careful if you have problems with your spine or legs as you would have to climb the ladder over a fence. They don’t have restaurant on site and the food they served was from Shanti Cafe and Guest House that was quite expensive for this place.
