This was my first time camping on an island so close to the ocean and it was an amazing experience waking up at 6am just to watch the sun rising :) the bar there had a lot of movement and it was a great place to stay drinking beets (estrella) until the late hours of the night. Note: No place...

Just as anyone else said, sure it's such a beautiful island with great beaches but I wouldn't go camping there again. I was on different camping spots all over Galicia and I haven't seen anything as bad as the one on the cies islands. When you enter the island and even before, you start noticing that this "national park" industry...

This campsite is quite crowded. The island itself is great, though very busy during the day especially at weekends. Restaurant fine. Shop adequate but expensive, Fresh Bread every morning. Bar for beer/coffee etc.. WiFi intermittent. Tent locations very close together. Try to get place at the front near the water.

Beautiful view with clean beach and cold water, so perfect to enjoy this summer with family. Only take 30minutes from vigo and u can also see dolphins swim around the boat are just awesome. Those moments with family that we can never forget. We get all the joy and memories here. Definitely will be back to this island one day....

2010 The Guardian named this as one of the top 10 beaches in the world, and I have to disagree.. This is THE top beach in the world. Facing back towards Pontevedra and Vigo, a stay on La Islas Cies is truly worth more than the price of rubies. Stunning scenery, so much to see and the camping is great...

The location is incredible - that is true. The plots are very closely packed and you will be one metre away from several other tents. Not enough toilets, there is constant traffic of people coming and going. Not enough charging points make life hell trying to keep your phone charged. Worst of al the carts to take your stuff to...

In my opinion I think quite a few things to improve . Beginning in control of who enters or leaves as well as the counter of care in Vigo, because we have forgotten beach stuff in the park and the first answer you have given us in Vigo is that it was impossible to contact in order to recover it...

Sure its expensive but you get a large safari style tent and camp bed, the showers are good and plentiful and its in one of the most beautiful places in the world. There is no fee to the national park so you could think of the additional cost as being park entrance fee. I didn't eat in the campsite restaurant,...

Very basic - not in the romantic sense. It's hard to understand why so many ppl are allowed to go to a natural reserve. Sure, the island is pretty, but also completely crowded with beach goers and party-people.

The islands are really beautiful. The ferry from vigo will cost you 18eur round trip and you have to choose the day and hour of your return trip when you buy the ticket. If you want to change the hour of your return trip the camping the staff at the reception can do this (suppose you want to stay an...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The campsite is located on the Islas Cies, namely the Faro island. These islands are part of the Parque Nacional Maritimo Terrestre de las Islas Atlanticas de Galicia, a nationa park that since 2002 is considered as one of the best ecosystem example of both the spanish coastline and deep sea. In these waters we can find different kinds of seabeds with especially valuable ecosystems, as we do in the fauna and flora presents in the islands themselves. But these are very sensitive to changes and harm in case of lack of proper regulation of the activities held in the area. That is the reason why every action we take in the campsite must lead to conservation and sustainability of the ecosystem and we thank you in advance for your caring and help in maintaining this wonderful place. We wish you enjoy this experience in contact with nature, and we will be gald to assist you in whatever you may need. Welcome! ... more   less
