This site is a little gem for the touring caravan or motorhome. Nearby glacier (site can arrange trips), peaceful, cruise ships drifting by, stunning views, good walking provides 360 degree panorama, good fishing, hope we can return one day. Ideal locus for ferry.

We visited a bit outside season. We rented an older (authentic) "hytta", which was verry cozy with great views. We rented a boat, a really fun way to visit the glacier Svartisen. People were very friendly and helpful. We even think of going back to stay longer.

Stayed for 4 nights in one of the new cabins built in 2012. I got the only 2012 cabin on the beachfront, furthest away from the reception. It was nicely furnished with a comfy sofa, a small dining table and a basic kitchenette with stove. Bedroom was nice with two very comfy single beds. Bed linen and towel is included...

This is actually a campground that also has simple cabins situated in a beautiful location. There is an extremely nice nature walk on the grounds and it is very close to a ferry (on the coastal drive). The morning I was leaving (7:30 a.m.) I locked my keys in the rental care. The owners Trygve Martin and Ann were incredibly...

The cabins with bath are on a boardwalk that hangs over a beautiful fjord, with mountains and a glacier in the background. Very scenic. But our neighbors stayed up late talking on the boardwalk in front of their cabin. Closing the front windows helped. The Wi-Fi was so strong that we could connect from our cabin, a couple of hundred...
