Worst place to stay. We saw good ratings on Tripadvisor and decided to come here. Checking in was ok But they said they don't have anyone to help us with carrying luggage. The restaurant was not there. They said they'll give room service but they had only 3 things for dinner. Staff is not friendly and not at all cooperative. Funny thing is they said that even breakfast will be available after 8.30am. Room was decent and I gave one star only for the room. Not at all recommended.
Overall I would have rated this hotel as a five star, excellent property and location with proximity to the airport. The checking in experience turned sour due to the lady general manager of the hotel who straightaway denied the executive room which we booked online taking us for a ride and instructing the front desk staff to provide a standard room. When trying to confirm if we were allocated a executive room, she said executive rooms don't come at the price you paid...talk abt customer service from the head of the hotel. It was an embarrassing moment in front of the staff, for no fault of ours. She argued that go to our website and check the price of executive room, further stressing that you have booked through MMT..you need to talk to them. She instructed her staff to allocate a standard room which was done against our booking and denied the executive room that we had booked. Thankfully MMT resolved the situation on contacting them, who took it up seriously. The general manager lady who had introduced herself likewise finally agreed to shift us to the room we booked. Hospitality from the leader of the hotel completely went wrong, this is a heads up to all who book online and getting a denial at check in. Ofcourse all the amenities in the executive room was not provided...talk of the behind the scenes instructions...Totally unprofessional from the general manager of the hotel....But I would say each and every staff was humble apart from the GM.…
Hotel Presidency is one of best choice for transit stay near bangalore international airport, neat and clean room ofcourse good breakfast. Worth for money. Staff are healfull while checked in late night
We booked Presidency for its proximity to the airport. Arriving at 3am, it was a logical choice. However: 1. The rooms are scruffy, though adequate for a night's uneventful day. 2. The breakfast sucks. There was a baby cockroach that ran through the food. 3. here are no English channels on the TV. This is clearly a hotel that panders exclusively to local travellers. 4. The taxi to the airport: - Was quoted at IRS600 at 3am when we checked in. - Was quoted at IRS800 when we asked again at the counter at about 10am. - Was requoted at IRS700 after we made some noise about the matter. 5. Late check out Our flight was late evening, We needed to pay cash (INR) for the late check out and for the hotel taxi. We had cash on the card, but that was not acceptable. This was the tail end of our trip. We do not recommend this hotel for non-Indian nationals. …
Location - it is about 7 km away from the airport that many cab companies won't take you to this hotel. And that is the main problem. Cab fare is also expensive for this short 15 min trip. There is nothing around the hotel, so if you plan to stay longer than 1 night, you may want to reconsider. Room- neat and clean. Spacious - even bathroom. Internet - free and fast. Breakfast - Acceptable, poor choice but ok.
I stayed in the hotel on a transit to dehradun - both ways. on the way back i left my samsung sports headphones at the hotel . on reaching the airport i called them and found it was in the room. Believe me !!!!!!!! i would have called them 20 times. each time they will tell me they would send it or pass on the phone to some body. i have written mails to them , talked to their GM. i offered to send them self addressed envelope with money for the courier. still no action.i do not know why they are so complacent. afterall it is going to damage their reputation
We had stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past few years and used to prefer it because of its proximity to the Bengaluru airport. The hotel offers decent room at affordable prices. Reception service was always abrupt and rude but we didn’t normally mind it after our long travel from abroad. But our May experience has put an end to our staying at this hotel in the future. We booked on line as always and paid in full. Due to death in family we had to change the arrival dates and emailed several times to the hotel to change it. We did not receive a reply nor a refund even though we made the change sufficiently in advance of the booked arrival date. On arrival , we were charged for the night of arrival even though we had paid for this night earlier. We wrote to the General Manager subsequently , explaining all that had happened and are yet to receive a reply, let alone a refund that is due to us per the hotel’s own reservation policy. We lost considerable amount of money. The dishonesty of this hotel’s operation and the ruthless runaround they meet out leaves a very bad taste in one’s mouth. We do not recommend this hotel. In fact, we recommend not staying at this hotel.…
The hotel is great value and close to the airport. And wanted to highlight the honesty of the hotel team that found ( and delivered to the airport) some personal items of great sentimental value that I had left in my room. A fantastic customer experience.
The hotel has a number of positives and a number of negatives: On the plus side, the room was large with a couple of armchairs, a good double bed, airco, ceiling fan and tv. The bathroom had big towels and hot water - although slow to heat up - was available all the time. Staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't use it, but I did see the advertised shuttle bus to the airport depart. Wii was free and reasonably strong throughout the hotel. On the down side, the hotel was, for 3-stars, a little scruffy. If you are used to large European / American chains, this may move the hotel to a description less positive than quaint. Looking at the negative reviews on this site, a number meet that criteria; the wooden door lock, for example. I found the breakfast to be poor in quality and quantity. That said, the eggs that I ordered were cooked well. All in all, a useful hotel for accessing the airport for travellers used to more than a standard chain.…
We booked because it was close to the International Airport. Very poor standard and condition. The rooms were very small and dinghy. The split aircon was dirty and dated. It worked all right. The bathroom was dirty. There was no hot water on the first night. In the morning we got hot water but it was limited, due to the completely solar hot water system ran out and we had to wait. There was no toilet paper and we had to go down and get it from the reception. The mattress was dirty and stained and sagging. The sheets were dirty and pilled and it was itchy all night. The food served at the restaurant was well prepared and tasty. They didn't have a shuttle bus to the airport but had a car. They asked for 500 rupees. Uber only cost us 239 rupees. Expensive hotel for a substandard room. It cost us 4650 rupees per night. We checked out the next door Hotel Shivas which was of excellent standard and were charging only 3500 rupees. Next time we will use Hotel Shivas…
