After visiting for dinner during a stay in the area earlier in the year, we were offered a 3 nights for the price of 2 discount voucher, to be used within 6 months. As this expired at the end of March we decided to make use of it before the end of the fishing season - Goodrich is on the...

We arrived for a meal on a bank holiday Monday. We were to get a table and fast service by the efficient waitress, Hannah (who was great). The food was outstanding, my brother said his child's burger was the best he'd ever had! We are from the Goodrich area and will be definitely dropping by again soon.

Again we were passing and decided "ham egg and chips time", one of many visits to this fantastic, atmospheric, welcoming place, Ayrton and Andy always remember our drinks and our dog Reno is always very welcome. If you don't go to eat here you must be mad!!!!!

Stayed here as part of our south west of England whirlwind tour. Beautiful building and surroundings. Room comfy and very clean. Bar was quaint, relaxed and cosy. Food was exceptional, including breakfast. Manager Ayrton couldn't have been more helpful, efficient and courteous. Will definitely be returning.

Not going to go into massive detail, but stayed here for one night before travelling the next morning. Absolutely stunning location, surrounded by countryside and walks. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was incredible. My wife and I travel around the country a lot and this is the best hotel...

We only stayed here one night for my wife's birthday, but it was excellent from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The room was comfortable with everything we needed and the bar downstairs was really cosy - a great place to sit and enjoy the local beer. We didn't eat there as we...

We stayed here for a long weekend. Room was upgraded from the original one we booked at no extra cost. It was a large room with ensuite bathroom, plenty of hot water and fluffy towels 😀. Lots of information on local walks and the surrounding area from the owner. They couldn't have been more helpful. Bar was well stocked and...

Fantastic service, phenomenal food (locally sourced) and a really friendly atmosphere in a place that has character and lots of informative pieces about the local area. Would definitely go back here, for lunch or dinner or to stay (or all three) again as the homemade jams for breakfast were brilliant!
