Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp lies within Central Serengeti National Park in Tanzania with endless opportunities for adventure and perfect space for relaxation.
We stayed two nights in the family tent in the Ndutu area of Ngorogoro Conservation Area. It was a spectacular location, right in the thick of the zebra and wildebeest migration - zebra herds right outside our tent. The tent was great for a family, the food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We were also about to have our laundry done, even in the middle of the bush! Also, it rained and I was so impressed that the staff kept our tent clean and even cleaned our muddy shoes while we were out on safari. Highly recommend.

This was my second time staying at the central TBC location. Right in the heart of animal spotting, the central TBC location is convenient for game drives in every direction. The zebra and wildebeest herds were migrating all around this location and each night we enjoyed the nighttime serenades of these animals in addition to hyena calls. TBC staff is dedicated to customer service, and is warm and welcoming. Facilities are very nice for tent buildings. For experienced campers, the facilities will seem glamorous. For travelers only experienced with 5-star hotel accommodations, the facilities will seem primitive. Each sleeping tent has comfy beds, a flush toilet and shower. Guests must provide advance notice of a hot shower so staff can turn on the hot water. Sleeping tents also have two-way radios for communication with staff. Guests are not allowed to walk alone outside the tents during darkness, for safety. The dining tent and lounge tent are roomy and nicely appointed. Food is plentiful and tasty.

Bush camp central is truly exceptional: very large, well-maintained tents, with all the amenities, including a working electrical outlet, bathrobes, etc.; kind and welcoming staff, good and plentiful food, impeccable table service. With the radio you call both to get hot water and to be accompanied from your tent to the dinner room, since you can't go around alone in the evening. The Bush camp Mara is a little less so, because it doesn't keep what the pretentious director promises: of course, we are in the middle of the Serengeti, so we are not too demanding, but the vaunted comforts are not there, it would be better not to mention them: little light in the tents , some light bulbs were missing, the device for charging devices via USB didn't work, water was either too hot or too cold, not adjustable, staff less friendly than usually happens in Tanzania; of course for one night it's fine, considering the remote location in the park. In any case, the experience in the tented camp is unique and unforgettable.

For us this camp was in Ndutu, it follows migration. We stayed there for 2 nights. Very nice welcome with a small welcome drink, explanations and discovery of the site. The aunts are spacious, the meals very good and varied, even the vegetarians find themselves there without problem. The buffet breakfast top and lunch box also. Bottled water is available in the tents, as well as bathrobes, flip-flops, towels, shower gel and soap. To go out in the evening if it’s dark, don’t worry the camp provides you with a walkie talkie, just call the reception and a Maasai picks you up, same in the morning if the sun isn’t up. The relaxing corner by the fire is a little more enjoyable in the evening. All the staff is smiling and at your disposal. In the camps the guides sleep nearby, so it is possible that your guide shares his meals with you, another pleasant moment of exchange and sharing, our guide to share all his meals with us (breakfast and evening meals). Little surprise when we woke up, the zebras had come to visit us and in the night we heard the lion's cry. Heaven. Quite frankly a big bravo when you see the extent of the camp, the size of the tents, the restaurant part and think that it moves every 4 months. Quite a job. Congratulations to all of you and thank you for allowing us to live through moments like this.

This review is for the “Korongo” Branch in Tarangire National Park. It is obviously a newer facility – beautifully designed with well-appointed tents. Four of us (two couples) occupied two tents. Our Tent was spacious and consisted of a sitting room with sofa, chairs and side tables so we had plenty of space to spread out. We also had a computer desk and chair, a large comfortable bed with pretty sheets and a mosquito net, flushable toilet, shower with continuous hot water flowing at adequate pressure, and a separate vanity and dressing area with dual sinks, equipped with bathrobes, slippers and plenty of shelf space. The toiletries, soaps and air fresheners that they provided were very nice – akin to what 5-Star Hotels provide. We even had pretty strong Wi-Fi in the tent – this came handy when we had to connect with our family back home. Most importantly, the entire tent was spotless, and maintained that way throughout our stay.
The Dining area was neat and clean. They even changed the placemats to different pretty hand-made beaded ones every day. The Bar looked small, but was well stocked with all drinks of our choice. The food was delicious with every item plated and presented perfectly. Even the Buffets looked so appetizing that we ate more than we normally do. The picnic lunch box that they packed for us was the best we have had from any of the other camps.
We spent two AMAZING nights here with an incredible staff who took so much care of us that we honestly felt spoiled. Every single one of them greeted us pleasantly every time we crossed paths, and took so much care of us that we felt welcomed like close family. All of them were super friendly, polite, professional, caring and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable stay.
What will stay in our memories is that Staff. From the time we checked in, to the time we checked out, they all seemed to want to please us. Their special farewell song and dance specially for us, presented with a special cake, was so heartwarming. I would be remiss if I did not mention the special ones. From the bottom of my heart, I will say a loud “Ahsante Sana” to Ally, Najra, Doris, Elisha and Chefs Eisante, Papa Emmanuel. We will never forget any of you. Their cute song “Bomba Yay” (meaning “Beautiful”) applies more to them than to us.
For us city people, it was awesome to see tons of bright stars in the clear night sky, and to hear lions and hyenas at night. The Sunrises and the Sunsets that we experienced were beyond description. Simply WOW…!
I wholeheartedly recommend this particular branch to future travelers. Just book here without any hesitation. You are guaranteed to have a fabulous experience.

Very comfortable stay at luxury tent with the amenities a hotel has: hot showers, running water, electricity at all hours, comfy beds. Spacious with lots of furniture and rugs which made it very cozy. Staff were amazing: Daniel our server accommodated all our meal needs and had a great memory for what we liked to drink. Ray, Daniel and their team of kitchen staff put on a great performance singing and dancing to entertain guests. Staff prepared hot showers for us, escorted us to and from our tents after dark, prepared the mosquito nets and zipped up our tents for the night and undid them and cleaned them for the days, and prepared delicious meals. They all made our visit lovely and we really appreciate them.

We arrived to see a huge bull elephant wandering around the camp. Obviously some idiots were trying to get selfies with it and had to make a quick exit into someone’s tent. Steve (Kevin Hart!), immediately made us welcome along with the rest of the staff. Evenings were spent listening to the sound of hyenas and lions whilst enjoying a bottle of wine from the surprisingly well stocked bar and tucking into delicious local food. The tents are lovely. Nice bathrooms and actually feel quite safe from the animals you can hear mere feet away during the night. Absolutely amazing place. My favourite of our trip. We even had a local rendition of hakuna Matata on our last night with audience participation mandatory. Awesome!

We spent two nights in this Lodge in the heart of the Serengeti.
Fabulous place, in the heart of the savannah.
Very nice home. The staff are charming and smiling. Always ready to help.
The tents are very clean, very well maintained and offer all the comfort necessary for safaris: showers and toilets in the tent.
A good wifi connection is available in the central tent.
The lunchbox meals are very good.
We recommend this Lodge.
Possible areas for improvement: - Evening meal: quality of food and smaller portions. - Level of English of the staff (not always easy to have a discussion beyond basic services).

My family slept two nights and were impressed by the good you can have it when staying in the middle of the bush. Upon arrival we were greeted by wet towels and a glass of juice, what a feeling when you fall out of your jeep and are dusty and thirsty! The fact that you have your own shower and toilet in the tent felt incredibly luxurious. But we were also impressed by the good food, very tasty, fresh and well prepared! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and showed paw prints and talked about the different animals in the Serengeti. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Tanzania bush camps for 3 nights. The hospitality is top notch and we had Daniel and Rei taking care of the entire group during our stay.
The food was amazing – even the boxes that we could pack for our safaris had very good food. We were in nature during our stay and saw elephants and zebras walking by a few 100 metres away. We could also hear Hyenas and Lions at night! The tents were very comfortable and hot showers were available on demand.
The only very minor con is only one charging point in the tents and WiFi doesn’t really reach the tents. But there are many more charging points in the common area and a strong WiFi too.

HI,
I visited North Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp, it is very good in August and September. Staffs are wonderful. Location near to River. We enjoyed it. Nice place.
Sorry I think you are wrong, you have to write to Serengeti Camp staff. I could recomend you to search on facebook to Erik Sariki, who works there and he can help you. Good luck!
The river crossing in August isn't in Tanzania. They're up in Maasai Mara in Kenya. If you want to catch them crossing the river in Tanzania, your best bet is July.
In August, the herds hang out in Kenya and then once Sept rolls around, they turn east and south and cross the border back into Tanzania. You can google the Great Migration Map and see where they'll be. There's even one site that lets you put in the month and week and it highlights where the herds will be. There are about half a million zebras and almost 2 million wildebeests that move with the herds every year.
There are more places to choose from in the Seronera area.
