The location of the resort is exotic right above the Muruguma dam. Add to that there is the amicable hospitality of all the staffs and clearly this location is one of the finest stress-buster. The food is extremely tasty and all the rooms are spacious enough with everything that you would need. P. S - Don't forget to try the Bamboo Chicken

Had an awesome 3 nights stay at Bon polashi in the eco friendly environment and enjoyed the ambience, food and the view around to the fullest. The staffs, especially the guide named Jaladhar had a great sense of humour.. The rest of the staffs too like the Manager named Daman and the Cook were very decent and helpful. Will definitely miss the daily evening bonfire either with barbeque chicken and bamboo chicken or the Chau dance or simply the adda sessions sitting round the fire. Highly recommend this property to all tourists traveling to Purulia to enjoy nature in its purest form.

Resorte is right in the nature's lap. Serene ambience. Rooms are cozy. Food is delicious. Enjoyed the stay very much. Only drawback is the tents needs to be a bit more covered, especially the lower part as many insects, frogs sometimes enter through the lower gap of the tent. Except that wonderful stay.. will suggest everyone visiting purulia.

Recently spent 3 nights 4 days with family and relatives in this lovely property. After more than 8 months of lockdown, needed a place to find solace.. Went there with minimal expectations, but returned with plethora of great memories. Location, ambience, hospitality, rooms, food all were excellent. They have 5 cottages and few more huts for accommodation.. The property overall is not a huge one, but large enough to enjoy whole day with lots of activities to do from walking down there lane to the Murughuma Dam for sunrise and sunset, playing different games viz football, carrom, ludo or just sit and enjoy the view of paddyfields and hills at the backdrop. One caution: they don't have TVs as they want you to spend most of your time close to nature. As soon as we arrived in the evening, we were welcomed with delicious snacks (bok phool pakoda, piyanji, muri) and tea around bonfire followed by equally nice dinner.. The rooms were spacious, clean with comfortable beds (one double bed and a single bed in each room). The bathroom was large and clean with 24 hrs running hot water. Special mention for the staffs there: the Manager named Daman, the Cook named Vaidyanath, and the Guide named Jalodhar who made our stay even more special. Jalodhar was a fun guy always who knows the place around Murghuma Dam so well that he will take you to all the gems of places for views and sight seeing. He even lent his scooter to us for a ride to have a sunrise view from the hills. The best was yet to come until the last evening where we had the best experience of their traditional Chau Dance enjoying to the fullest. Overall it was a great stay for 3 nights at Bon Polashi Eco huts and would definitely come back and stay there to explore the place more and be again in the lap of nature.

Without any voyage for more than a year we were dying for a trip. In current situation, hygiene and mental peace were the foremost criteria for choosing a site. So we headed from Kolkata to serene, pleasant Muruguma; our destination was Bon Polashi Eco Hut. Roads are very good through nature. Muruguma dam welcomed us on the way and on reaching Bon Polashi Eco Hut, we were welcomed warmly. As we were a group of 10, rooms and tents both were booked by us. There are 5rooms and 4tents. Rooms are spacious, clean, well equipped with ac for summers and geysers for winters. Dining place complements the Nature theme. Plants, flowers, swings, water body, huts amidst paddy fields are real treat to eyes and soul. Just opposite to the eco hut, stands Muruguma dam makes the vicinity more adorable. Relaxing on Charpai (khatiya) in verandahs, sipping tea and listening to birds' chirping was an awesome experience. Staying in tent is exciting experience but good for adventure lovers during winters as it is quite a chilling affair. Staffs are very cordial and down-to-earth. We were already been informed that localities are in charge of hospitality and cooking and not to expect very polished urban hospitality. So were they, homely and ready to help in smiling face. Added to our enjoyment were bon fire, bar-b-q chicken and very tasty bamboo chicken. Breakfast is a real treat there; mutton dishes in meals are delicious. We hired Traditional Chhau dancers and their performance admist nature in Bon Polashi premises was another great experience. We initially planned for two nights but extended for one more night. So, we got the opportunity of exploring the surroundings. We visited view point twice, in noon and during sunset and truly beauty of different daytime was strikingly varied. Upper dam, lower dam, marble lakes, local village, Chhau mask village Charida gram are a few attractions. Those looking for a pleasure, relaxing trip, Bon Polashi is a nice option.
