We traveled to this resort with some friends with the intention of reacquainting with ourselves and nature. The sunsets are breath-taking. The resort overlooks the ocean and it was a beautiful sight to sit and enjoy some local wine and watch the sunset. The hotel is rustic and charming. The staff is super friendly and if you need anything that...

The staff were nice enough but no amount of niceness could make up for what we experienced! There were food crumbs left all over the dresser around the "coffee service" (which consisted of a coffee maker but no coffee or mugs). There were dust bunnies everywhere. There was no toilet paper and no spare roll..anywhere and we just barely caught...

I stayed at Gorda Springs Resort last weekend. It was a wonderful expierance. I stayed in the Palm House. The innkeeper was very nice and helpful. The General store was great. The ambiance was so wonderful. Once I stepped foot on the prperty.,, I did not want to leave. The views and grounds were really special. The lovely farm animals...

We too were tired from being on Hwy. 1, heading S. This was the first place we came to after it got dark at 5:00pm. KEEP DRIVING! Way over priced and the cabin was in terrible shape. Very old and worn. Beds were horrible. There was 1 small oil heater for a 2 bedroom, and my 2 kids were freezing. The...

After driving along those windey roads at night we were glad to find somewhere with vacancies. this was the most expensive place we stayed all 2 weeks and also the worst. scruffy cabin with no facilities. 20 dollars for a burger in the restaurant. wished we had carried on a few miles to ragged point. like most of this coast,...

My wife, grown daughter and our grandson were on our way to camping last weekend and stopped for dinner and were treated to the BEST service we have ever had and very good food at a very reasonable price. The waiter was super attentive, creative, funny and kept our 3 year old grandson quite entertained. The restaurant was delightfully decorated...

Bearing in mind all the negative reviews on trip advisor, we didn't think Gorda springs was at all bad (we were above the store), Yes the room was a bit old fashioned, without all the latest mod cons, but it was clean and roomy, the people were friendly the food and service in the cafe was good, the view would...

If only I had taken the extra few minutes to read all of the tripadvisor reviews about this place before we stopped. If u are desperate and in need of shelter, use the parking lot, but stay in your car. This place is filthy, the service is NON-EXISTANT and the staff couldn't care less about u. In fact, most of...

We had a newly renovated room, in the beach style. It was really big, with a big bed, sofa, fire place, extra space for the suit cases. It was directly at highway nr. 1 just across the street and you were at the ocean. The staff was very nice. There is also a cafe and a gas station, shops and...

It's a pretty decent place, though the other comments are very true. The food is way over priced, so is the gas and goods and the whole feel of the place is just down right strange. The locals defiantly run the place and there is general friendly atmosphere. I was served right away, though I arrived at 8:30 PM, just...
