In order for someone to find a place to stay, they need the correct address...well, this place it's not the case. Whether you're using a GPS device or use google maps, it indicates this place is here: http://tinyurl.com/2e4rvdb not at all , you still have to drive another 40 miles on Big Sur to reach your destination. They didn't even...

I am sorry to say that we agree completely with the critics below. This place makes a living out of tired tourists without hotel reservations. Don’t get caught in this overprized tourist trap. If you are in an acute need for a place to sleep go on (or return) to San Simeon instead. It is not that far, and there...

It was like an episode of Twin Peaks right from the moment we walked in, but we tried to give the place a chance. Being extremely overpriced was the least of the offenses committed in this joint. The wait staff ignored our arrival, so after a few minutes I approached them to get menus. Their first reaction was to have...

My fiance and I have traveled all over the world and stayed in everything from youth hostels to extremely high end resorts and spas. This place felt like the twighlight zone and we could not wait to leave the next morning. We did not have breakfast there and did not shower. The water was not potable. We had been sightseeing...

We've driven by Gorda Springs countless times on PCH drives and I've always wanted to stay at Gorda Springs. It's in a great location and seemed cute. We finally did stay there last week overnight. We ate at the restaurant where the food was pretty horrible. My spouse's chicken was undercooked and my rice was undercooked. Our server was friendly...

While checking for accommodations driving down the coast, I left my handbag at the hotel. I was in a panic! But Betty at the front desk held on to it for me and was a courteous professional. I am so grateful for her honesty and concern for their guests. Thank you Betty!! We will be certain to stay with you...

The only reason we stayed at this hotel was because the road was closed heading south on Pacific Coast Highway, due to a rock slide and this was the only hotel. In addition, it was nighttime and we had no cell service to check the review of this place. We stayed in Creek Cottage. It was a plywood box that...

Driving in between San Diego and San Francisco we had to stop at night at Gorda Springs as we had a 8 month old that needed a bed. We stayed in the "Creek Hut" for one night $220 US - very overpriced for what we received. Traveling with my partner, baby and my mother the fold out bed was meant...

When I walked into the room and turned on the lamp by the bed, the lamp shorted out and smoke rose from it. I feel kind of sorry for the people who run this place, but it doesn't change the fact that $165 for a room with stained/torn carpeting, mildewy shower curtain, and a spider crawling across the sheets is...
