Driving down the California coast we were thankful this place had cabins available as they are the last place before the winding road if it is dark this is a place to stay for sure very clean and friendly staff

As with many others, driving from the North it was about 40 miles until finally coming across this little gem. I was thankful there was a room. And it was awesome to wake up, open the door and see the ocean across the street. (It was very dark when we arrived.) It is an ages property so you can't expect...

This property's unique location and scenic views don't come cheap. It is clean but has very basic rooms without televisions and dated bathrooms .Travelers beware that if you are stuck in this big Sur area on highway one it is going to cost you an arm and a leg for everything you touch.

We were driving down the Highway 1 and had been driving a while. It was dark and we had no cell service to check any reviews on the place or to see how far it was until the next hotel..... Its a good job we stopped as it would have been a while. We stayed in one of the top...

We stopped on our way northbound to Monterey for a quick coffee break and stretch our legs. Its a very pretty and quaint spot on the route but I don't recommend that you plan to refuel here unless it is absolutely necessary as the fuel was $7 a gallon!

The site includes about a dozen of cottages , a small store, a gas station and a restaurant. The cottages we stayed in were clean, with basic furniture. The kitchens were inconsistent across cottages. For example, one had s large fridge but no stove. Plates and silverware were scarce. Several of the cottages have beautiful ocean view. The WiFi provided...

We stopped here on our way south along Hwy 1. The room is neat, tidy and clean. The cafe next door sells great food. Still expensive but we were pleased to get a room when otherwise we would have had another 1.5- 2 hrs on the road.

We stopped here late driving north on the coast. No cell service to check reviews, but we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. We were very shocked at these bad reviews after the fact. We stayed in a fully remodeled cabin called the garden house. Cabin was very clean, plush and comfortable and the expansive views from our bed...

Like many others, we had been driving for a while and needed someplace to stay. There was no wifi in the area so we couldn't read the reviews before we checked in but truthfully would have stayed anyway as it was still quite a ways until the next place and we didn't want to drive further in the dark. The...

The only way they get people to stay is lack of wifi service on highway! I was grateful to get a room as I hadn't seen anything available for quite some time and we were tired and hungry. I let them know we had 2 adults and 2 children. We were given a room with one double bed and one...
