These cabins are quite conveniently located right when you enter Big Sur, and there is a delicious breakfast restaurant adjacent. The cabins right on the river are amazing, but the others are somewhat close to the road and can be noisy from traffic (though not much traffic goes by in the middle of the night). The cabins have a lot...

We had a cabin that had a queen bed and 2 twins in a curtain partitioned room. The bedroom had a fireplace. They supply wood. I think it was cabin #10. The cabin was just off the road but quiet. A short walk down to the creek. Has a nice little seating area, breakfast nook and kitchen. Only complaint is...

I really wanted to love this place. My husband and I stayed here for two nights while road tripping up the coast. After a lot of research, we settled on this place because of the low cost and good reviews. We stayed in one of the smaller cabins that shares a wall (12B). That part was totally fine. There were...

Basic but charming cottages on the main road. Breakfast in the diner was good. We loved our setup, with a full kitchen, big fireplace, quiet and privacy, in #15. Plenty of space for at least 2 more people. The only downside is the lighting is poorly thought out in the cabins.

I wanted to stay at Deetjans but they were booked, Deetjens suggested Ripplewood. I called and booked cabin #9 for two nights. We checked in on a Sunday and checked out on a Tuesday. Cabin #9 is nestled between two cabins and a small river. There's another property's campgrounds across the river behind our cabin. It was nice to see...

Cabins were very clean. I was in Cabin 9 which is right beside the highway but the traffic didn't bother me. There is a store with the basics where you check in or a 5 min drive away is a store with more variety. Everything in the area is very expensive as it all has to be brought in so...

Rustic little cabin next to the river. Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. I didn't use the kitchen but was surprised to see that it had everything, including a full size refrigerator. The heater worked very well, ran quiet and kept to the temperature setting.

We stayed here for one night. The cabins by the river are great. We stayed in one of those that had a breakfast deck overlooking the river and all cabins surrounded by Tall Red wood trees. Had a great time with family!!

Stayed here one night in cabin #2, April 2016. Absolutely beautiful setting right on river. Bed/bedding was comfortable. Bathroom was small but sufficient. Adorable throwback kitchen (fridge, stove, sink, cooking utensils, etc). Table and windows overlooking the river. Deck and seating overlooking river. Enjoyed bottle of wine outside on night we arrived. Very peaceful despite being right off Hwy 1....

I have no idea why this hotel rated a 4. That was not our experience. We went in September 2016. When we got to our room on the outside the cabin (#3) looked cozy and cute. When we entered the cottage the smell of disinfectant was so strong and disgusting. The back door was not secured properly and it only...
