This was off season and we had some rain in the morning which was not a problem. We stayed in one of the little sur cabins and we loved it. The cabin was clean and everything was setup so that one would enjoy the night. There is a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. They even provided wine glasses...

The staff is incredibly helpful and the rustic cabins are beautifully designed. The combination of small cabins set in the majestic redwoods is magical. The overall feeling is one of a very comfortable rustic getaway.

A belated anniversary with my wife. The room was great rustic retreat in beautiful wooded area. We will be back there soon. We absolutely loved it even though it did rain the entire week we were there. Wonderful place to stay.

We were on a date to California and was recommend Glen Oaks from TripAdvisor. It was truly a wonderful place with time to relax. Due to season and weekday lodge we got a substantial upgrade. Big fan. It was raining a lot so we did not get to Explore the Woods as much as we hoped.

Stay here to drop off the grid for a few days in an isolated, though high-end, cabin. No tv. No cell coverage, but there is Wifi, if you like. Our cabin was impeccably clean and just perfect for two people to enjoy one another in nature. Cabin had heated bathroom floor (nice!) refrig, microwave, adequate storate, and a few dishes/silverware...

Glen Oaks was the perfect spot to spend a weekend in Big Sur. It's very conveniently located, there was an adorable fire place and plenty of board games in our room to keep us entertained and the Big Sur Roadhouse was a delicious spot for breakfast and was right across the street! We would recommend this spot to anyone visiting...

My husband and I have been coming to Big Sur for many years. In our early years we camped, later with kids it was Big Sur Lodge, as adults we splurged at the luxurious Post Ranch and Ventana Inn & Spa. We discovered Glen Oaks Big Sur back in 2011 after a major renovation and we continue to come back...

We stayed in the “Redwood Cabin Forest View” and absolutely loved it. We were surrounded by the redwoods and right near a stream. The room was extremely spacious, with a large bathroom and mini kitchen. Each room has a private fire pit and chairs outside, so definitely buy stuff to make s’mores before you go! (Although they do have a...

My husband and I visited California and the Big Sur at the beg of Jan encountering the worst storm California had seen for years! Staying at the Glen Oaks was a relief after a long and rainy drive!! The rooms are lovely and stylish with the added bonus of the fireplace!!! The staff was lovely and helpful providing great local...

Had a two night weekend getaway for my boyfriends bday. Everything about Glen Oaks and the surrounding area is breathtaking. We stayed in the Adobe Lodge with a king bed, fire place, heated bathroom floors, and private yard. We crossed the highway to hike through the red woods and see Grandam Pfeiffer. We loved our stay and would recommend it...
