My sister and I spent two nights here. Room was nice but expensive. It must have been off season because there weren't many other visitors, but that was fine. Weather wasn't too hot. Hiking from the park was nice.

This place has massive potential but it seems all the revenue earned from hotel stays is not being reinvested in the property. At $340 for a room it seems the management done;t care as they have pretty much a captive audience. Inseams that they did a makeover a few years ago but did not have the budget for the bathrooms...

The location of this lodge is beautiful. The room we had was dirty and extremely outdated. The bed was awful and I think the pillows were about 10 years old. Spiders and dust all over the room. Due to a fire, the lodge lost power (while we were in the dining room). The staff assured us that the generator would...

We had a very large room for our family of three, which had a fireplace, a Cali King bed and a twin bed in the large room. A second bedroom with a Queen bed was nice for Mom, while the kids took the main room. We arrived late, so didn't see much of the property, but the front desk folks...

We stayed at this Hotel for 1 night , when driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles. So i can't say many things about hotel itself. For me it was clean and cosy , with the fireplace, nice balcony, falling cones on the roof all night long and many deers and fawns in the yard near my balcony in the...

Stayed 2 nights. Location is lovely. Quiet and peaceful. Had a nice end unit. Room was good size with dedicated space for table and four chairs, fireplace with complimentary wood. Lighting was inadequate. Table lamps were cheap Craftsman style with paper shades; low level bulbs didn't help. Front window screen was jammed upon arrival. Had to pull screen out to...

The good: the restaurant food and staff were good. The location is convenient and easy hiking trails right off the lodge. We had some car trouble and the staff driving around in golf carts stopped to help and were very kind. The bad: the only room available was larger than we needed (2 queens + twin) and for $400/night, was...

We visited the lodge fur lunch when visiting the state park. Firstly, the restrooms were out of order, which was very inconvenient. We had lunch in the outdoor seating area. When our meal arrived, it was cold and one of our family had specifically asked for no cheese due to an allergy but the meal arrived with cheese. We mentioned...

Remembering that traffic and crowds can be overwhelming, this is a terrific location to arrange to explore. One part of our family stayed in a cabin with kitchen. Clean and large with an unexpected electric fireplace. Another stayed in a 1 bedroom with A main room comprised of a queen bed and 2 twins. Large rooms that are very clean.Not...

We stayed in a cabin with a king bed. We were impressed with the park, trails, and cute little cabin! The staff at the lodge were very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The cabin didn't have AC, but we left our windows open and it was perfect! We wouldn't definitely stay there again!
