When it comes to location and service, this is probably the best the Douro valley can offer! The hotel (with only 10 rooms) is located on the hillside overlooking the river going downstream - giving the rooms an amazing view over the valley. As we...More
This hotel and wine estate is at the top of place I'd love to revisit - but next time, I'd stay for an entire week. Everything from the location to the beautiful decor and delicious food made this place special. It was extremely quiet in...More

It was unforgettable stay among vineyards with beautiful views and surroundings,
Service was very professional, a room was nice and clean with comfortable beds.
Wines were especially good reasonably priced. High level hotel.

Hi, you do not need to usually make a reservation on the first night although because there is a set menu, I myself would advise the hotel that you are vegetarians. The staff members are wonderful and will bend over backwards to help. I am sure that the chef, if advised, will make sure that vegetarian dishes are prepared for you. Enjoy your stay - it is a wonderful region to visit.
