Beautiful property in the hills of Naro, Agrigento nestled among its vast farmland. Although very comfortable rooms, all equipped with a small fridge, we found that the lack of interraction between the owner and we four traveling a far distance was a little less than we'd expected. We got the sense that the end of the season was perhaps why...

As its name says, Baglio San Nicola is a renovated Sicilian Baglio, a traditional farm house build around an enclosed courtyard. Set amidst vineyards in a beautiful hilly landscape, it combines country life with luxury. The small hotel has only a limited number of rooms, mostly centered around the courtyard. The rooms are tasteful and spacious, although a bit dark...

We stayed one night travelling from Piazza Armerina to Agrigento. The hosts were super nice. We were offered to choose a room and picked one with a view. It was spacious and very quiet. We relaxed by the pool (got extra towels for this) and it was a surprisingly beautiful pool for such a small B&B. Thanks EU for the...

The rooms are clean and lovely decorated, and the surrounding area is well kept. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dinner was delicious, abundant and freshly prepared. An array of items were available for breakfast. Definitely value for money. Recommend the place wholeheartedly.

We've just spent two nights at this peaceful and friendly Agriturismo. The dinner each evening was simply superb - antipasti, pasta/risotto, meat and fruit, with a litre carafe of red wine and a bottle each of still and sparkling mineral water waiting for us. The pool was an extremely welcome refuge from the scorching sum, with lovely sun beds to...

We decided at the last minute to have a night away from our boat in Licata marina. We found this place on the agroturismo.it site. This is a fabulous, friendly and charming place with great hosts. An afternoon by the pool in lovely surroundings followed by dinner and wine served by a very attentive chef/waiter, all locally grown produce. A...

The upside: beautiful old farmhouse, restaurated, with a pool. Very friendly service by the administrator, santo, and daniela, our guardian angel at breakfast time. The downsize: relatively isolated. And in wintertime, the place has an empty, slightly soul-less feel. All in all however a very good and recommended experience.

This was our first stay at an agriturisimo in Sicily and perhaps our expectations were out of whack ( the information we read suggested this is a working farm; it is not). Or perhaps if we had been there in warmer weather we could have appreciated the very attractive outdoor spaces more. Or maybe due to the lateness in the...
