The hotel is very big and beautiful. There is a passage going down to the river, but it is risky because there are steep slopes and pointed rocks. The food is amazing and is freshly cooked every day. There are two types of rooms - 1. Hut - huts are big and spacious, but they are not soundproof. They have a key lock. 2. Cottage - Cottages are very comfortable and spacious, they have a nice mini bar, a table, and a small dining table. My overall experience was very good, There were 2 drawbacks: The hotel had very less lights in the gardens and Passageways as well as in the room. My room had some glass windows without and curtains, so that would wake me up early.

The best place to acclimatise and relax when you arrive in Leh by flight. This is one hour drive from airport and 500 meters lower in elevation (3000 meters). This is an Eco-friendly resort in the middle of the nature - overseeing Indus River and huge mountain range - with the cottages surrounding the orchards of apple and apricot. And hence the best place for acclimatisation - when you don’t want to move around a lot and just relax. We stayed in Cottages - the higher of the two categories available. Don’t expect 5-star amenities but it has everything - comfort, delicious food, excellent service. What do you need more than a massage by experienced therapists - yes the resort has Spa - and massage would help you in relaxation - Rejuvenation and aromatherapy massages recommended! Food is delicious (pure veg). You will definitely love the apricot juice and jams (from their own garden). This is at a elevation from Indus River and they have pathway to go down to the river. You would love being near the river and spend some leisure time there. Don’t go there the first day you arrive - as the hike back may be hiring before you get acclimatised. We did this the morning of second day.

We had bad experience !!! Rooms are small and cramped. Though property is good and so is food and services. Mr Ganesh -Manager In charge -charged us extra money and said will refund same after we check out. We called him multiple times to reverse amt, every time has had new excuse. This was indeed very bad on his part!!!! After few days he stopped receiving calls and stopped replying to msgs on whatsapp. Finally we recovered amt from Travel agent who booked us , This was not at all processional behavior at their end. Because of such small dirty acts the Brand Value of your property decreases.

I along with my friends stayed a night at this lovely place in October 21. It was a refreshing place with great views of the river and the mountains from the window of our cottage. The apple trees and the Swiss chalet style set up of the cafe ,the sitting area the dining, made for a very comfortable and pleasurable experience.Special mention must be made of the fantastic massage that my friend and myself enjoyed ,by Geeta 1 and Geeta.2 ..the Bhabhi and nanad duo...who had learnt their skill in Kerala. It was extremely relaxing and enjoyable.
