It was a wonderful vacation. Looking at the pictures of the Farmstay, I came with very high expectations. I was not disappointed. The hosts were kind and accommodative, and the staff was extremely helpful. Everything from food to comfort is taken care of at this property. It's a beautiful place for a break. Will visit again.
Fagunia is an idea for a perfect getaway holiday, a dream home in the mountains and the best part is the remote off road location and no network. You need no alarms to get up early, the birds here are doing the job pretty well. The food served here is deliciously different and fresh. I should say Deepa didi and Paras cooked us the best possible. We choose to stay here to celebrate 10 yrs of togetherness, but i must say, we should have come earlier. Would love to come here again with the whole family. Full of food, hapiness and memories. Akansha and Sarthak Agarwal Haldwani.
Fagunia Farmstay is a reminder to live consciously, embrace the little joys and be open to new adventures. Recommended by two of our friends, we are sure we couldn't have found this piece of gem when considering travel with an infant. The place is one of a kind especially for those seeking experiential travel. The vibe of the homestay is quite homely and welcoming. The pollution free air, birds, sky and the pristine environment is revitalizing. The way each room is set and named spells care, comfort and love. Food is absolutely delicious and the staff is warm and courteous. Thank you so much for visualizing and creating such a charming villa. Highly recommend this place and will come back for a longer time.
Fagunia is a family house nestled away in the mountains around Nainital. Anil and Aditi have made it into a homely refuge for nature lovers. They guided us through preparations for our trip, especially for the last few miles of the approach which follows a rather narrow and unpaved forest driveway. We were assigned a cosy set of two rooms featuring a working fireplace and a panoramic view of the valley. Sure enough, the evening chill gave us an immediate appetite for a bonfire and for the wholesome and delicious local fare prepared by Fagunia staff. On the next day we followed Anil's and Aditi's advice in hiking to the bottom of the valley along a village path through terraced fields punctuated by giant pine trees. We saw magpies and drongos carousing in the foliage. Another hike took us to a rustic temple on the top of the mountain. The scenery is spectacular and the aromatic air is a real change from the city. Aditi, Anil, and their lovely staff went to great lengths to make our stay agreeable and memorable. Highly recommended - we are sure to be back soon!…
We stayed at fagunia, an eco-friendly homestay in a remote location, for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience to say the least!! It's a very unique place, a cute little cottage in bajoon, 1 hour away from nainital. The place is a quiet farmstay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its pretty isolated and the last 3km has to be covered on foot (little uphill) and the 4 km before that is a very narrow rocky road. But once you reach there you will realise all the struggle was totally worth it. Its so so beautiful! One of the best view! It was raining while we were there so it was a heavenly feeling!! The owners who stay in another cottage were very warm and welcoming. The food is good too, local homely food, prepared using the vegetables from their farm. The staff was very helpful. It was a surreal experience. Would definately recommend it for those seeking an off beat experience.…
