Suggested this property to my Important high end guests, They had gone for an off-site. Really liked the property and the services offered by the hotel and staff. They were given a special welcome and even arranged few activities. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would really recommend this property to others.
The hotel overcharges for minimum services , with horrible services and undermanned restaurant . Poor service . Horrible food . Servers are trainees . Hotel has poor rectification of errors . None of the managers come to sort issues .
The property is good. Rooms big. The place can be much better if service level is made better. Except the chef no one seems to care. The children food took more than 1.5 hours to prepare last night and came with spice, during our check out there was only one person who had to check us out, take our bags to the main gate and do everything else possible. Also ITC has taken over the property and going to run under their “stories” brand name. Spa is over priced and average. My massage was good however my wife had an average experience. Also the spa is a Normal room converted with two spa beds hence no steam etc available. Location is off and no activities organised for children. For us and other guests they called a singer and guitarist 2 out of the 4 nights which was very nice because otherwise our evenings would be dull.…
Stayed in Amoha - enjoyed the spacious rooms, very comfortable baths and amazing SPA. The evening music and drinks, food was excellent. The hotel location is a bit far from Dharamshala, so please plan for that when you do day excursions. A great place for a large group of friends/family or Couples.
A holiday becomes very special when brother shoulders the patriarchal role and arranges a prodigious family reunion . Bearing in mind easy accessibility given the range of babies to octogenarians in the group , Amoha , Dharamshala was the favoured choice . Just an hours flight and a twenty- five minute drive got us to the destination. The temperature was 10- 15 degrees lower than Delhi … very pleasant . Amoha , a spread out resort , offers a spectacular view of natural greenery and one can even see snow capped mountains in the distance . The huge lawns became a cricket pitch for the cricket enthusiasts among us . The good- sized , well appointed rooms over-looked the lush green valley . The crispy clean hotel is just an year old , a survey revealed undergoing construction of a banquet hall and swimming pool. The dining area and bar had big glass windows on all sides with natural light brightening the space . The lobby was unimposing and very welcoming. Food becomes the pivot of any memorable vacation ! The versatility of the chef was favourably tested when he seemed to satisfy the distinctive tastes of our large group. The pizza , pasta loving kids , to the simple non-spicy ghar-ka khana of the elders to brain masala , kababs , Thai , Chinese for the rest . The three days that we spent there we got a happy variety at every meal . I have special word for the best sweet corn soup ever ! The staff too is courteous and eager to serve . All in all I would happily go back for a soothing and relaxing holiday . A word of caution…the hotel as of now has 33 rooms and runs full occupancy so to avoid disappointment book well in advance !…
Family Fun we had a superb holiday break for 3 nights at Amoha. Huge rooms with beautifully landscaped gardens and water bodies. Staff was uber hospitable, ready to accommodate our demands. Whatever foody whims we had were satisfied, though suggest they add tibetian food to their menu.
The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. Mr. Rajat Bharadwaj, Miss Priya & Mr. Omprakash were just outstanding with great dedication sincerity and helping out with a smile all the time. Thank You Team Amoha Will surely visit again.
We checked in to the property today and must say it’s a pretty dull experience for the charge they levy. The property is in the outskirts and there was not much to do within the property in evening. Also, the resort do not have too many fun activities organised. The staff also has zero clue of what one can do in the location. The worst of all, any activity mentioned in the experience is on chargeable basis. Even a basic yoga session os chargeable, similarly a fun activity of cooking with chef is also chargeable. Once you enter a property like this you want the experience to be memorable. The staff on the other side opens the rate card for you on every small activity and you wonder what did we pay for All in all, good location, but extremely dull property and not worth the price. The staff could also be a lot more friendly…
