We had a 4 day total stay in both of the Soulitude hotels to experience whatever we saw on the website. We got the full support and guidance from Prithviraj Singh ji, Bhanu and Dinesh ji( the real gems of the Soulitude group). We had an adventurous exposure for the river side hotel as we had to cross the river twice on the safe blocks of rocks placed across the river to reach our destination. The most astonishing beauty of the location was the way it was nestled in the valley with beautiful sound of water and the birds chirping around. We also loved the hotel rooms made from earthen mud.Food was also great with no complaints..
We wish All the Best to the Soulitude group for their hospitality and comfortable stays to the travellers..

The moment we received an email from Manish informing us that they were re-opening Soulitude by the Riverside on 18th September, we started making plans to visit. We made a booking for the 21st and had to take a Covid test ( state requirement as well as for the safety of all staff working at Soulitude).
All set we reached Chanfi village and trekked downhill for about 20 minutes to reach the resort. The water levels of the river were not safe to cross and hence the downhill trek.
The resort is just Wow. No words are enough to describe its beauty.
The room, the food, the service were all impeccable. Of the 7 rooms only 2 were occupied so we received royal treatment. All Covid precautions were taken with temperature checks happening twice a day and a single table assigned to you in the dining room.
We had a comfortable stay and the river is just amazing. You can spend hours just listening to the sound of it or soaking your feet in.
The vegetable garden is superb. They grow most of their fruits and veggies right within the resort.
The team led by Dinesh is fantastic. Food was yummy and we made a lot of special requests that were honoured. Thank you Chef!
Overall I highly recommend Soulitude by the Riverside. Having stayed at both their properties I am in love with this one and would definitely visit again.

The magic begins at the parking. Its a 20 min trek riverside to reach the property from the car park. Its an easy yet beautiful trek and it takes you through rivers and dense bushes.

The hotel is tucked in a serene corner of jungle next to Kalsa river and many small waterfalls. I was surprised at the beauty of the room as the location is very remote yet the designer managed to add such intricate details to the rooms. The beds are heated and blower/heater is also provided. There hot water round the clock. As we were the only guest at the hotel we had the liberty to choose our meals. The meals were delicious especially lunches which were setup riverside on a beautiful table. The staff is super attentive and helpful.

They recommended us for Parital trek, Parital is a lesser known small waterfall/lake. The difficult access to the waterfalls means that me and my wife were the only people at the waterfall the isolation was mesmerising.

Enjoyed every second of my stay. Definitely recommend for people who are bored of Taj’s and Oberoi’s.

This resort Is a beautiful place to spend some quality time alone or with family and friends. There are so many lovely spots where people can access little chairs and tables, so you can enjoy the river flowing by in serenity.
The rooms are impeccable, very well maintained .They have a kind of rustic feel but with all the amenities and comforts, though the mobile signals are not so easily accessible there. they do have Wi-fi which works fine.
The staff is very polite and soft spoken. The food is absolutely delicious, every time, every meal. They show you the menu beforehand, so you know what to expect at each meal.
The way to the resort is a lovely trek alongside the Kalsa river. The management does give warnings about people with mobility issues not being advised to take the trek.. but I reached the resort easily,(I'm 53 and not fit by any imagination).
There's enough adventure in nature to keep the young, the old and little kids occupied
I was travelling solo and everything was managed comfortably and easily buy the staff and management.
Definitely plan to return with my family in tow next time.

Hi guys!
We recently visited the resort first week of October. A group of 7 including a two year old kid. The nights do get chilly so make sure you pack something warm.

Soulitude by the Riverside is one of my favourite resorts in India. It is unique in so many ways!
A quiet peaceful getaway nestled in midst of the mountains. So artistically made! The attention to detail in the architecture and interiors is just phenomenal. Luxurious yet earthy. Kitsch yet Surreal. You can spend the entire day by the private waterfall.
The service!!!! Is at par with some of the best resorts in the country. The food cooked is any foodie's delight. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It does not have 24hrs dining. But honestly it is not an issue with the scrumptious spread that is laid for every meal. The safety precautions set in place during covid are really commendable. Mr Manish the owner is a delight to interact with, always approachable and helpful. Mr Prithvi the GM is always at your beck and call to help you with anything. Mr Bhanu the manager is also a very fine gentleman and guided us through the trip and made sure we were all comfortable.
I Highly recommended the resort. It is an absolutely unique experience. Specially for travelers who crave luxury and offbeat experiences.

Safe Travels!

Visited in Aug2021 as a family.

I do not usually write property reviews but this one deserves one. We visited as 3 families along with kids and infants. I must tell you that the share pictures of the property and surroundings do not do a near justice to the actual beauty of the property, riverside and natural beauty.

On top of it the excellent hospitality of the staff, the FOOD(there is a good reason it is in caps) and everything about the staff is just extraordinary. You really have to work hard to find any shortcoming with the property, staff and hospitality.

The riverside takes you to different horizon altogether. The water's so clear, you wouldn't imagine seeing something this clear.

We went for the 3BR village cottage and it was lovely. Since we were 3 families, it served best for us and even the garden opposite was best suited for kids.

My sincere thanks to the entire staff (kudos to those why ferry our luggage), the Chef and the owners too. This is something extraordinary you have going. Will certainly recommend and come back.

Tip for fellow travelers - Wear good grip crocs (not shoes & socks) and shorts while reaching the property as you have to cross a shallow stream of river twice. So getting wet can be avoided. Although it is all adventurous and fun to make this trek.

Also book an all meal included plan. We did it and totally worth.

We stayed there in the month of October. The videos on the website are really beautiful and we booked our stay there. But there is a lot that they need to improve:
1. Food is too simple. They have 3 veg dishes and 1 non-veg dish in the meals. The food is more basic than any home cooked food also.
2. No proper lighting in the room which makes it very dull in the night.
3. No television and refrigerator in the room.
4. No hair dryer in the room.
5. The mirror is inside the Almira which is really uncomfortable.
6. Open shower was scary.
All an all its a very hyped property and you can get a lot in this much price from other properties in any hill station.

I visited this place for a couple of nights with my extended family. We booked the three bedroom cottage.
The location of the resort is one of a kind, and it requires you to treck for 20 minutes and cross a couple of river streams before you reach there.
The sound of water gushing down the river is always audible wherever you are in the resort. The rooms are decorated with a rustic touch and quirky style. The bathrooms are designed to make you feel as if you are fully immersed in nature.
The staff is very warm and they pamper you to no limits. The food offered is simple, but delicious.

I would definitely want to come here again someday.

Loved the place, I stayed for 2 weeks, the weather was perfect. There were many things to be done around, there were many tourist attractions and tour plans or day trips
Adventure sports were cheaper when booked through the hotel services. Great experience, overall!

The place is absolutely gorgeous. It is located in a valley, surrounded by mountains and river flowing in parallel to the property. Every place offers a fantasy view and seating nooks are made in multiple places for people to just sit and enjoy the sound of the river flowing or bask in the sun, and of course gaze at the beautiful star studded sky.

It has a boutique property vibe, each room having it’s own charm. Staff is very courteous and helpful, food is good. Definitely not a luxurious stay, but a very very comfortable one. Loved the fact that they had provided bed warmers, heaters and fireplace in each room.

Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the location makes it worth the time, effort and money!

I don't see any reason for it not to be pet friendly as it is nesteled in nature. Generally speaking most resorts are ok with pets of small size. However, to be sure its best to check with the resort before booking. You can reach out directly to the General Manager Mr. Prithviraj Singh at +91 893789998 for this.
