Rosetta Sakleshpur is nestled in a refreshing green location that guests laud for its tranquility and easy access from Bangalore. While the value is a point of contention, with some travelers finding the prices steep relative to the services, many appreciate the spacious and well-appointed rooms.
The hotel's amenities, including diverse dining options and activities set in picturesque surroundings, generally earn high marks, though there's room for improvement in service speed and maintenance. Attentive staff and a serene atmosphere contribute to the overall luxurious experience.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed in this property for 2 Nights , we stayed in cardamom suite that came with mini kitchenette. The property is amidst beautiful plantation, newly constructed and very well maintained. Rooms are very huge and spacious with lovely backyard. We were welcomed by mild flavoured welcome drink and check in was very smooth. We were escorted to our rooms by cute buggies , which was very exciting for all of us. They have an outdoor themed shower area, which is very unique and good....The main part of the stay was the food, all the bookings for all sorts of rooms comes with all 3 meals included plus the high tea. Buffet breakfast consists of continental, Indian with vast range of delicacies, you name it and they provide. Plenty of live counters for lunch and dinner, we were spoiled with choices and pampered with delicious pizza, pasta, burger, fries, along with wide array of dishes, Each dish tested heavenly , and desserts were simply out of the world. Best part of the stay was each and every staff are service oriented and their hospitality is at the best, not sure how the management trains their staff , especially the housekeeping staffs to be so courteous, polite and always at our service, our rooms were cleaned 3 times, even without requesting for it....hope the management takes care of the staff and their family, Lot of upcoming constructions inside the property, at the moment they had very few activities like plantation walk, fish feeding, spa and swimming pool, they are planning to expand and hoping they finish soon and maintain the same service . We never got bored of this place and enjoyed each and every minute, will definetly visit this place again in next winter.

When I say everything at its best, I mean perfect. An international standard resort with 5 star amenities within 100 acres of lush, green coffee estate.
On arrival, we were greeted by well mannered, courteous staff. Even their buggy drivers were fluent in English so the non-Indians should be worried about a language barrier.
The roads within the estate are even and tarred which makes the buggy ride smooth.
The rooms are spacious, well furnished and well equipped. There is a closed bathroom and an open shower room.
Rosetta’s swimming pool is adjacent to a large lake where you can enjoy a drink from their well stocked bar.
Food - delectable cuisine to suit every palate. You can choose from Continental, to Chinese, to Indian and many more with a array of exotic fruits. Their desserts are a die for and their bakery items even better.
A walk through the estate and you will see large tropical fruit trees like mangoes, sapotas, jackfruits and even some wild berries. Of course, you cannot miss the unusual, colourful birds.
The icing on the cake is the grand Chapel of St Rosetta with large sloping roofs, beautiful alter, a large crucifix, benches with cushioned pews to house about 200 to 250 people.
All you young boys and girls, don’t even think of going to a foreign destination to get married. The photo shoot at the Chapel and estate will make your wedding memorable. A wedding destination it is.
Rosetta has a huge, sound proof conference hall which can be used by corporates.
I can go on and on about Rosetta ….

Context: We travelled here during the weekend of 29 June to 1st July to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
Overview: Good decent neat and clean property in Sakleshpur… easy to access as well
Hygiene: Very hygienic and very clean
Ambience: Great ambience all over the property. Nature at its very best
Music: Played in restaurants and pool area is quite good and if you request they allow you to play your own music as well.
Staff: Decent & efficient staff …. Very quick service
Parking: Ample parking available. Parking has to be done on the road outside the property but it is safe as there is dedicated security to monitor the same.
There is provision for driver stay as well at an extra charge or else public washrooms for drivers and food for drivers is also available.
Food Taste: Extremely Good food and great variety of options
The food is to die for in this place. Given a choice I would come back to the place just to have lunch.
Don’t miss out their Sat special lunch which is an icing on top of their otherwise already awesome menu.
The food is the highlight of the place and a special mention to the Chef Varun who runs the ship in the kitchen.
Great food, absolutely delicious….. one of the best that I have had across many resorts in South India.
The other highlight is the open shower in the property…. A very unique feature of the rooms.
Price: Slightly pricey but then the service and the property maintenance matches the price asked.
Few things to improve -
The wifi in the place is shaky at times especially during Sat when the property is filled to capacity
The buggy guys aren’t available on time ever. Considering the property is so huge they should have a few more buggies around so that guests do not have to wait to move around.
My checkin experience was bad. I had received a call one day before when I had informed that I will be arriving from Bangalore at 12 noon. Now the room wasn’t ready till 1:30PM and if someone one day before would have told me that room would be ready by 1:30 only/strictly I would have planned accordingly. In that tired state we had to sit around the pool waiting for the room to be ready is not the best welcome one would prefer.

Rosetta by ferns was an unbelievable experience to say the least! We were there for 2 nights and 3 days.
Its a huge property set within acres of coffee plantation. Theres so much flora around that its a bird watchers dream! During our morning walks around the property, we spotted peacocks, racket drongos, kingfishers, robins, asian flycatchers and many other birds of which we don't even know the names of! The walking paths are tarred and well maintained so you can go around the property on foot with your eyes firmly fixed around the trees to spot these birds without the worry of tripping and falling over.
And if you are not a big fan of walking then you have the electric powered buggy carts to ferry you around the property!
The lawns are well manicured and provides you with the perfect ambience to spend some "me" time with books or music.
Now about the food. Our package included, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. And I kid you not, I have returned a good 1.5 kgs heavier! There are 3 restaurants currently operational with a pure vegetarian one currently under construction. Teatro is were you will be having all your meals by default. The buffet spreads are delicious and very very diverse and mindbogglingly huge! Indian, continental, Chinese, Italian, salad bar, live counters you name it!
Then you have Merchant of spice, which is open for only dinner and you can reserve it in advance to swap your dinner from Teatro. And I would suggest to positively have your dinner there as it is an exquisite experience. If you are going with your partner then the Merchant of Spice offers a very romantic candle lit ambience.
And lastly about the staff. They play a huge role in making your stay a memorable one. Each and every staff member goes out of the way to be super nice with you and make you feel comfortable. Some notable mentions would be Mr. Prasad who took us for the estate walk. Really loved the passion with which he explained about coffee and its making process. Mr. Yogi, who was gracious enough to give us a guided tour of the property in a buggy cart. And lastly Ms. Sony at the front desk who went an extra mile to make us feel comfortable all throughout our stay.
Would definitely love to go back to Rosetta soon and this time probably with family!
Thank you for making our stay extra special.

It was our first visit to Sakleshpura and we booked Rosetta by Ferns based on all the reviews available online, and we made the best decision. The resort is around 4 hours drive from Bangalore, so perfect for a weekend getaway.
Location wise is it’s in a serene environment surrounded by plantations. You’ll be amazed with the fresh air that you’ll breathe.
The check in experience was straight forward with no delays. We booked the Robusta rooms which is pretty spacious, and has all amenities you’ll need. Rooms were crystal clean and have a outside sitting area too, perfect to chill in fresh air. The bathroom has a outdoor bathing area which is a unique experience. You might get the lake facing rooms if you’re lucky.
The swimming pool isn’t operational due to covid so that’s something to look forward to once it opens up.
Now coming to food, it was a fabulous experience. We had an all meal plan and we were delighted with the variety of food we had on offer. Right from breakfast to dinner it was just an awesome experience. The spread ranges from Asian to Indian with both veg and non veg options, and the live counter is there to take your needs to a next level. You get a wide spread of salads and desserts were amazing too. Staff is extremely courteous and the quality of service is top notch. A special shout out to Pavan who took care of our needs from the time we stepped in. He took our feedback and made special items for us, which were great and speaks of the great service standards the resort has. Anyone visiting the resort must contact Pavan and they’ll be amazed with his lovely behaviour.
Overall it was a great experience and it’s a highly recommended place to visit and we’re sure with time it’ll keep getting better.

long lost school buddies decided to converge at rosetta, over a January weekend . nestled amid tranquil surroundings in a 100 acre coffee estate at sakleshpur, rosetta was the perfect getaway for us. variety being the spice of life, choices of food and drink offered at the restaurant left very little to be desired, inclusive of the warm friendly demeanor of staff there. the cottages were simply out of a travel book, with aesthetic spotlessly clean interiors, and a bathroom with an external 'courtyard shower' from where one
one could look at the clear night sky and feel the warm water trickling down.... soothing your senses. well, the sound of crickets and the hooting of an owl at night, or the chirping of a variety of birds during day, gave it all an earthy feel. a rooftop get-together with school buddies in the pool complex over a dinner buffet, amidst a careful selection of retro music tracks, made us recollect happy times gone by. the next morning, sipping tea on the sit-out overlooking the coffee estate amid such a serene setting, I couldn't help but feel that peace had found its calling here. I knew, then and there, that I would return again..... and perhaps, find my calling too !

Nice property to get away from the hustle bustle of the city.
The property is very well designed and extremely well cared for. Our room ( Cardamom ) was spacious with a small kitchenette ( with mini refrigerator and a microwave, useful if you are travelling with a toddler) and sit out area ( though the roof was missing so couldn't took the advantage of sitting out as it was raining all day ). The best part of all room is the Open shower with temperature control.
We were not satisfied with the room view at first, Many Thanks to Ms Sonia for helping us shifting to Lake view room next day :) Since the property is new so there are few things to be taken care of but that’s negligible.
The whole staff was following all COVID safety protocols and made us feel secure at all times. They have Electric buggies, which were really prompt and the people driving them gave us an enjoyable tour of the resort on the way to the rooms.
Of course, a great vacation experience cannot be complete without great food! Many Thanks to Mr Pavan and his team who served us exceptional food during our stay. Every meal was something to look forward to! We enjoyed the variety and superb execution. Again Thank you for packing lunch for our toddler during check out. That was so kind of him.
The staff is courteous, always smiling and understand what the guest is looking for. The service is impeccable. Though the entire team did a fabulous job.
Looking forward to visit again once all the activities are operational. Keep up the good show guys!!!

Need lot of improvement in service. Providing a experience is more important than making people to show as if hotel is in high demand.
Property is good, Well maintained but staff are not in standards of amount they charge.
-ve of this property :
No early checkin (you have to wait till 1:30), suggest plan your visit only post checkin time
Buffet is good only on 1st day, by 2nd day you get to feel same. Same with breakfast too
Most of the times may require to follow up on room service.
Not really a friendly staffs. Felt like they have been forced to smile or talk.
No Gym, No indoor games (other than snookers) especially for the price they ask
Baking activity may or may not happen. And there will be no communication in case of no classes.
+ve
From Bangalore hardly a 2hrs drive
Good pool
Overall an avg palce and not a worth to pay 15k/night.
Thanks

We visited Rosetta for a quick getaway and came back with beautiful memories and a grateful heart. We got to experience how the staff here make a personal connect with their guests.
On our trip, I had a freak accident and a staff cleaning the pool area quickly rushed to help me. In no time more staff were mobilized and I was rushed in their car to a nearby Taluk hospital to have my injured ankle treated. All throughout their security head and front desk staff was by my side to make sure I was fine. After getting the necessary dressing when I was brought back they thoughtfully served tea and snacks in the room so that my family could be part of the nature walk. Every staff for the next few days would inquire about my well being and offer any help I need.
Front desk staff Sangita took personal interest to make sure I was fine and got all the attention my injury needs. Milan and Kiran from management made sure I was getting all the support I needed. The entire staff helped cheer me up so I could enjoy the vacation by putting the freak accident behind me. Sangita also took initiative to find time for a long chat to get our feedback on various aspects at the resort and suggestions. The restaurant staff were super friendly. Mandeep, Ankush and all other staff at dining were extremely dedicated. Do not miss the informative Nature Walk organized by Mr. Prasad - my family really enjoyed the session and cicadas.
We came back from here with a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for the excellent hospitality from the entire staff we interacted with. Highly recommend Rosetta for both the excellent property and wonderful staff!

We do not have a jacuzzi facility at the resort however we have an infinity pool and multiple private pool clusters which can be booked for large family and friends get-togethers.
