All in all, an extremely relaxing and great holiday amidst nature. Highly recommended place for Couples, Families & Groups. We had one of the best experiences in the recent time, not because other properties were not good but simply because this was a mesmerizing experience altogether. The resort is located amidst a deep forest and is covered with hills and lush green trees. The property is not very large which enables it to give you a personalized experience. One of the specialties that I would bring up was the room where we stayed & is also the best for Couples. It is called ‘Hobbit’. The owner of the property who personally took very good care of us termed it as an extremely unique concept and drawn from the movie Lord pf the rings. It is kind of a burrow and half-submerged. We had a lot of fun staying there. From a safety perspective too, it was all good. The bed was also very good with a very comfortable mattress & we could sleep well. Mattresses form an important part of any stay. The bathroom was neat and clean. The infinity pool is extremely beautiful and faces the unending hills in the front giving the pool a very good view altogether. Considering the overall area and open space, I assure it is also a pet-friendly place, however it I advisable to check with the authorities. They served great food all through in their indoor and outdoor (pool facing) restaurants, starting from Lunch to breakfast to evening Onion Pakoras & tea and a very tasty dinner.…
Follow the signboards (of course, handmade) to reach this place. Don't get frightened by the road that leads you to the resort. The fun starts here... The place is serene and you can just sit by the pool to view the sunrise and sunset with the staff ever ready to help/serve you. Wake up with different sounds of birds chirping (which you miss in city life) and go to bed with the sound of crickets. If you are a nature-loving person, this place is for you. Walk around the property for a leisurely walk with lots of flora and fauna to explore, listen to nature talk, soak in the pool, or play games. The best part of this place is, it never gets overcrowded as there are limited rooms. So book in advance than to regret it. The staff is friendly and the owner ever willing to take suggestions. Don't forget to visit the Hobbit room even if you are not staying there. If you have any special requests for food, let the staff know (less spicy, portion control, and so on). The food was stomach-friendly and the resort is family-friendly. Don't expect a full-fledged menu as you get in hotels. The choices are limited but good. Don't miss going on an adventurous ride on the Thar jeep (arranged by the owner depending on your willingness) to Hosahalli Betta, Mookanamane falls, natural fish spa and Bisle view point.…
Unfriendly staff ,expensive tariff, show off owner, deadly road to reach the hotel, will test your body and your vehicle endurance. We had a terrible time. Best to avoid.there are better places to choose for the same price.
VANA VALLEY !! a cozy vacay! we in a family trip to Sakleshpur this Oct 02nd stayed in VANA and Rosetta by Fern, both had a lot different offering. VANA one third the cost of Rosetta was a mesmerizing experience! THE VANA is a tastefully crafted resort with very few rooms, which ensures privacy, has a small but beautiful pool overlooking the valley. Rooms were comfortable but not to be compared with a 5 start hotels. Its a perfect destination for a small group of family, you might have the whole resort to yourself if you are about 4 to 5 families......fantastic LOCATION! very courteous staff! Mr,.Ravi the owner goes above and beyond to see that you had a perfect experience! food was very tasty as very reasonably priced. I would say it was a 5 star experience, good job VANA.
We had a wonderful stay at the resort. From the time we checked in the warm hospitality extended by the courteous staff throughout our stay just made this vacation perfect for us. Thank you, Ravi, you made everything go smoothly when we arrived and departed also made sure to have a relaxing holiday with every need addressed.Especially being in constant touch at any hour. The best part of this resort- 1. Location of property and view from the rooms 2. Infinity Pool 3.Campfire and Trampoline
The Vana - Valley Retreat - Resort is a calm, serene & beautiful location which allows one to unwind completely. Amenity has good inhouse activities to keep one occupied enough & enjoy those games with the group one has gone with. I must confess that food is the USP of this place, as getting finger licking variety of food in both veg & non-veg as option is a rare combination one can find at a small town like Sakleshpur. They have made sure to have contact less check-in, staff was in mask while serving food or otherwise. All the requests were attended to with immediate effect. Ravi & his team is very hospitable & helpful to guest's need. I highly recommend this place for a quiet & relaxing stay at Sakleshpur with amazing food & facilities.
