Malnad mist homestay is built in 8 acres of land which has many amenities that attract tourists. We stayed in malnad mist for 2 nights , we thought pricing was high initially, but once we stayed there , we were given malnad style homemade food, (I just loved it ) that too 3 meals buffet . We played in pool , best one was rain disco and mud volleyball. Everything was totally worth it . Rooms were spacious and clean . Staff were extremely nice , especially Ravi . Karaoke night was so much fun. We dint go out anywhere in 2 days . This homestay will keep you occupied for sure. A must try place in SAKLESHPUR. The ambience gave me halli mane vibes , like you see in movies like mungaru male 😆 Malnad is so beautiful. Just can’t wait to comeback to this place again . Waiting for boating and fishing here . And yes homestay has such a homely vibe that you don’t feel like a hotel but as a home . Thank you Malnad Mist for hosting us and making our days the best . Will come back soon .

I visited this place for two nights. While the location is good, the place can be improved a lot. The room is very basic and as such the prices are quite high. The room had a musty smell which was intolerable at one point. There were large spiders in the room too and that was scary and I Couldn’t really sleep the night very well thinking of the insects that might get into the bed!! (Funny I know!!).
Apart from that, the hosts were really friendly and catered well to all our needs. The fun part in the homestay was the private bon fire in the pretty cottage. Also, my doggo enjoyed the large area within the premises and was happy with the freshly cooked food.

Loved the stay here. It is in a coffee estate and is about 7 acres in size. The construction is true to the old Malnad style and suits perfectly for the surrounding area.
The staff is a family which lives on the property and they make you feel very comfortable and welcome. Excellent food. Top notch overall.

We had booked about 20 days before the stay and paid money but on the day when we called them to find out whether they have wifi(which the don't), they said we need to pay them 6500 rs. more otherwise they will not let us stay there. Since there weren't any hotels available at that time at such short notice we were forced to pay the extra amount and stay. Would never recommend this place to anybody.

Malnad mist Homestay is just another home in Malnad region in the foothills of Western Ghat. Hospitality was beyond words that exemplified true Indian traditions. Malnad food served by pushpavathi aunty in the Homestay was delicious and mouthwatering.We stayed for one night in this home stay and had an awesome experience.The home staff rudresh and team is polite and helpful,The property staff were very friendly and caring. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would like to visit again with family and friends😊

Complete unprofessional and not maintained in one sentence. We got cancelation upon arrival when we have been in contact with them form 2 days of booking . Also discussed about food options etc as we had young kids travelling with us. Forget food, they could not get us rooms booked ( 50% amount was already paid for 3 rooms to be specific) . We had to travel back all the way to Bangalore and with kids which was horrible experience . If you can not manage business please stop the same . No business ethics . They had nothing to say other than Sorry . How will their sorry help us managing our trip with young kids. My suggestion is not to go for this property even if you don’t have any other options.

Malnad mist homestay is covered with nature and mountains.just an amazing place to chill, ambience is awsm and the staff harish and ravi very friendly, well maintained rooms and neat kitchen with tasty food. Spcl private fire camps, activitiess like mud volleyball, dj night, pool, etc etc Spcl i liked rain dance there is no restriction to enjoy your valuable time, overall ill give 10/10 as rating.

Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink. The staff (Manju) and the resort manager (Manu) were extremely friendly and the resort Owner (Renu sir) deserves a special thanks for the hospitality. One of the most memorable experience to our entire family of 25+ members including kids, teneagers and adults. Food was very delicious and served on time. Rooms were clean and maintained well. karaoke music studio was too good and our family spent some quality time both the evenings of our stay. Swimming pool and rain dance floor attracts more. Lastly with a simple note "A very good resort with delicious food and polite staffs"

We had booked online few weeks back and the hotel called us last minute asking us to cancel or overpay. The staff were extremely unprofessional and we had terrible experience staying there. I highly recommend tourists to look for another place other than this.

I had booked a room at this hotel weeks in advance, but after arriving there I got to know that they had to cancel my reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. I was extremely disappointed, as I had already made travel arrangements and plans around my stay at this hotel. The hotel did not offer any compensation or assistance in finding alternate accommodations. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and inconvenient, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values reliable and dependable service.
