I visited this place with family . We were 5 adults and 1 kids. What we loved about this place is its staff(special mention to Rudra) and the food. Rudra was very kind enough to take us to few treks which had unbelievable view points. This was the highlight of the short trip. The staff was courteous and food was...

Staff is so very professional and food is amazing. I specifically want to mention Mr. Rudra shetty for the hospitality shown. Locataion of the hotel is quite interior from sakleshpur but worth the journey. Road is very bummpy and hard for car tyres. Hebbe falls on the way is quite impressive.

Stayed at the resort as part of a small reunion of old room-mates from the bachelor days. I enjoyed the over night stay, but came out with a feeling that this place could be made better, even when adhering to the resorts's motto which is "Stay Simple". We reached the place by around 1500Hrs, but the staff was kind enough...

If you have powercuts then it is a bit hot there, without power , as they rely only on generators and they don't keep the generators running continuously. But the hospitality and everything else is good. Its also close to makanagadde trek and bettada bairaveshwara temple along with a nice waterfall as well.

While the place is good the Air Conditioners are not maintained. Upon repeated complaining - post checking in - the hosts to allotted us two different cottages where the ACs were functioning. The food is average with a limited choice of whatever they have to offer us. The first thing on their lips is - " Sir, it is chargeable...

The Western Ghats of India: This name brings to one's mind images of tall mountains, enveloped in mist, the clouds hanging at touching distance, vast tracts of greenery, with hardly a soul to be seen, endless expanse of coffee estates, a century old temple on the top of a mountain, a lonely sheep enjoying the grass in the warm sunlight... The Hills, a ten cottage resort, nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats and within a 32 acre coffee plantation, brings to life all the images of tall mountains, touching clouds and endless greenery..
